Someone asked me about Vanilla Porter beer and it is brewed with vanilla beans in The Breckenridge Brewery in Colorado. What do you like to drink that has alcohol in it?

There are a few vanilla porters out there.

I like a good quality Scotch whisky or bourbon, and all sorts of decent ales. I like porters and stouts, and really like IPAs. But I also like to mix things up, it's far from rare for me to go several beers before repeating something.

I had a couple of Vanilla Porters tonight and I could feel the buzz. So I stopped after 2.

If you like that sort of thing see if you can find a mocha stout.

I don't drink but it's not because of God saying anything to me. I get a bad stuffed up nose so I think I am allergic.

I like wine. I'm kinda of a wine snob. I inherited this from my parents. This is my preferred "adult beverage"

I'm okay with beer. I lean toward lighter lagers. There are HUNDREDS of micro-brewers around here (they are all over the place) and I have my faves. Of the popular store brands, XX is my choice.

I'm like Scotch. What I buy is Glenlivet. There are better ones but it's easy to spend $40, $50, even $100 for a bottle and I DO have my limits; Glenlivet is very good and can be purchased for $25 - 30 (more in my pocketbook). Go much cheaper and it gets bad; good Scotch has to be good.

The only thing I might imbibe is eggnog at Christmas time. Otherwise I don't indulge. I get headaches from alcohol so I stopped many years ago.

I like good quality Scotch too. If you get chance give Glenfarclas or Glenmorangie a try too.

I enjoy a Coors light or two but three is my max and that's only over a full day of being with friends and family.

Depending on your budget you could look at Stone stouts. I think you can get a 22oz bomber of their regular beers for maybe $4-5. Their more unusual beers cost more. I quite like the Imperial Russian Stout.

Lagers and Pilsner beers

I buy commercial when I get lazy, but most of the time try to make my own.

Have made wine from scratch, but don't normally make it or drink it. Don't touch spirits unless it's a special occasion and I'm out. Don't keep wine or spirits in my home. That being said, I will be making spirits in the foreseeable future, but this is for fuel, not drink.

So for the most part, just beer.
