You talk religion a lot, and superstition a lot too.

Your religion is full of worldly opinions and invented traditions it doesn't give much appearance of walking with God.
I hold to no religion...or superstition. I love and follow the supernatural God and His supernatural book, the bible.

Don't you?

Depends on if you here from God, if not you should ask yourself why not, It is not superstitious to follow the living God nor is it strange to hear Him or speak in tongues or any other manifestation of the spirit of the living God,

I hear from God daily but I never hear God talking gibberish like many Charismatic folk talk. Reckon that folk who stumble at calling Blessed Mary the mother of God (because she is the mother of Jesus and Jesus is God) need lessons in basic English and basic logic.

Okay, you ought to have said so at the start, but if that is true then why do you have a "charismatic" religion icon next to your avatar cat?

Who bore this Jesus who is God as you state?

The girl we know as Mary gave birth to Jesus, the human being. That was her purpose.

You said Jesus is God. Did you lie? Is He NOT God?

You said Jesus is God.

I ask again, who bore this one whom you state is God?

Balderdash? Holy scripture is not balderdash. Try reading John 1:1, 14, 18; Acts 1:14. It'll do you good.
I know the references, but your religion twists scripture to suit its dogma, thus keeping its adherents confused.

I am a Christian, who believes in and experiences the presence and empowerment of the Holy Spirit...in relationship with Him. That is not religion.

Mary more the Son of God, the human flesh, Jesus, who has revealed Himself as God. He is not the Father nor is He the Holy Spirit. He is the Son. Let's remember that important fact for the sake of those who would believe in Him for salvation. It's NOT ABOUT MARY. It is always about JESUS.

Go back and read some of my previous posts, I quoted the passages. I'll cite them now. John 1:1, 14, 18; Acts 1:14.

I know the references, but your religion twists scripture to suit its dogma
I think that is what you're doing. The passages say that the Word is God and that the Word became flesh and that the only Son (Jesus Christ) is God and that Mary is the mother of Jesus. You somehow twist that into something about Mary being the mother Jesus' flesh but not the mother of of Jesus. That's quite a bit of theological acrobatics. It's the sort of thing I expect to hear from one of Jehovah's witnesses as he/she explains away John 1:1, 14, 18.

a = b and b= c means that a = c.

Mary = mother of Jesus, and Jesus = God, means Mary =mother of God.

, thus keeping its adherents confused.

You said Jesus is God.

Now you say Mary bore Jesus (who is God).

Thus, you are flatly affirming BOTH things the title affirms. So, how can you be both RIGHT and also WRONG (indeed, committing blasphemy)?

Again, there is no title of "Mary - Mother of the Father" or "Mary - Mother of the Holy Spirit" or "Mary - Mother of the Trinity" or "Mary - Creator of the Creator" or any other absurd, silly, wrong, NON-EXISTENT title YOU may invent out of thin air as your own strawman and then rebuke. YOU now (finally!!!!!!) state that Jesus IS God (albeit, obviously not the Trinity). And YOU now (finally!!!) state that Mary bore this one whom you now have said "IS GOD." So....... There goes your whole silly point that affirming that Mary bore Jesus who may rightly be called God is (as you've repeated over and over and over) is WRONG and BLASPHEMY.

Mary is the mother of Jesus! Jesus is God---the Son. So Mary is the mother of Jesus, the Son. We don't call her God's mother because God is Three in One. She didn't give birth to the Father or to the Holy Spirit. She gave birth to the flesh and blood baby, Jesus. So, the term, "Mother of God" is fallacious and misleading and its real intent, IMHO is to bring glory to Mary, which God abhors.

If God wanted her to be called the Mother of God, He would have said so. Instead, men are saying so----errant, misguided men, for ungodly reasons. It's IDOLATROUS.

In one breath you call him God the Son and in the next he is merely the Son. Is it really so hard for you to speak the words Mary is the mother of God the Son? And is it so hard to understand that God the Son is God?

Yes, Mary is the mother of the Son of God, God the Son, but she is not the mother of God as a title conferred on her by religion. Her role was a fleshly role in the life of the flesh and blood Jesus. Don't elevate her to god status, because in doing so, you fall, and not in ignorance, but in persistent, deliberate error.

Your math is not God's math.

You YOURSELF have stated "Jesus is God."
You YOURSELF have stated Mary bore this Jesus.
But you've stated that affirming these two things is "wrong" and "blasphemy" - but you YOURSELF have clearly and verbatim affirmed them as true.

In my book, you've lost all credibility, honesty and sincerity.

Yes, Mary is the mother of the Son of God, God the Son
Indeed she is. Mary is the mother of God the Son and since God the Son is God blessed Mary is the mother of God. Yet you find it so hard to say. You'd rather deny it than admit the evident truth of it so you add the peculiar heretical view of the Holy Trinity and the incarnation of the Word that the rest of your post contains.

, but she is not the mother of God as a title conferred on her by religion. Her role was a fleshly role in the life of the flesh and blood Jesus. Don't elevate her to god status, because in doing so, you fall, and not in ignorance, but in persistent, deliberate error.

Enough, like seriously. I did not start this thread to have people calling each other childish and trashing each other. Either post respectfully or don't post at all. If you're getting heated, get out of the thread and cool off for a bit. Last thing we need is Staff coming in here and closing this thread and people end up getting reported, I hate when that happens in threads of mine.

If you're going to place people on ignore, do it and keep the thread moving.
