It is about 18 degrees F here with snow flurries. I really cranked up the heat for I have a draft from my one window that won't line up when it's closed. Have to keep all my babies warm!

We just had a snow whiteout. It didn't last long. It's nicer to see it from a warm living room than behind the steering wheel...

It's dark out but I know the weather isn't the greatest this morning as I listened to the pelting of ice against the windows and the strong winds. Yay. Work. I'm not thrilled about the commute.

Just bitter cold, about 8 ou there with a little breeze, our high today is only supposed to be 13

15 and I don't want to know what the wind chill is!! I have a luncheon at work to handle and I have to meet the guy who brings the food outside to pay him. ugh.

Since it's so cold I've been draught hunting in my house. I found one horrible draught but haven't yet figured out how to block it. Then I went outside with an infrared thermometer so I could see if any parts of the exterior were unexpectedly warm. The tiles on the attic recorded -8 degrees. The walls recorded between 5-10 degrees. The thermometer on the side of the house read 22 degrees. It was chilly out there. Curiously I wasn't wearing a coat and didn't particularly feel it.

Last I heard was 6-10 inches starting Friday night

Last winter we were forecast 12 inches and got one inch. We were forecast 10 inches and got 2. We were forecast 11 inches and got none. I wouldn't be surprised if this winter storm dumps a bit of snow and moves on, much like Winter Storm Athena did a few years back. I rebooked flights because of that only to find the flight I had originally been scheduled to be on took off bang on time and totally unaffected. Not that I minded, it meant I got a few free days of vacation time.

I think it was actually a bit colder than that. My Chromecast displays the temperature (based on Google, who appear to know everything about everything) and reckoned it was more like 14 degrees.

Sometimes I just don't feel the cold.
