I am always behind in the summer months putting up the prayer request threads. I'm combining June and July here.

Please pray that my husband's bone graft in his mouth works out and he can get his implant before Christmas.

Praying for those in China affected by bad flooding. I'm surprised it's not on the news more than it is. I saw some videos on Facebook which is how I found out about the flooding.

Prayers for my family. My stepdad did something very hurtful to my family and it feels like serious betrayal. I am hoping he will make it right, but for now, it really hurts. My family has worked really hard to respect him and to try to treat him well and accept him. He has generally been a kind man but there have been some bumps in the road. I hope it all works out, but I can see this pulling our entire family apart at the seams. Thank you.

Thank, you things have calmed down a bit and I think things will be ok. It's really hard in blended families and I tend to stay out of the drama but as the oldest of the family I definitely hear it all lol...

I need prayers for a young girl in my family. My 2nd cousin's (mom's cousin's) 11 year old daughter was hit by a car yesterday, she was walking to the store down a closed road and someone got impatient and veered onto the road, and onto the sidewalk the little girl was on with her sisters. Her name is Lolo. She did make it, and thankfully only has non-life threatening injuries. But she has a pelvis broken in many spots, a broken tailbone, a concussion and she's having trouble with her lungs and breathing. Everything else checks out ok so far. It'll be a long recovery and it will be hard on her as she is extremely active in sports and band and many other things.

Please everyone pray for my friend Jeanine (a long time friend and neighbor in Florida) .. She's in the hospital in a coma as she had a stroke and from talking to her son, don't know if she's going to make it. 😭 Thank you everyone! 💜

Praying for those affected by the floods in the Texas Hill Country. Suppose to get more rain and flooding this evening. A lot of lives lost as well as many still missing.

I mentioned a situation in the thread a couple of months back. It's still premature to post details on a public board but things have been progressing well so far. I'm hoping everything will wrap up in the way everybody is hoping, probably next month, but never say no to extra prayers that we don't hit any blocks or bumps along the way.

Also please pray for me as I'm having surgery Tuesday. ☹️

Praying it all goes well and you have an easy recovery! I can't remember if you've ever had surgery before? This is going to sound weird, but sometimes the anesthesia will cause constipation for a few days after, so be prepared!

After a slight delay it looks like we should get a definitive answer one way or the other shortly after Labor Day.

So far it looks like everything will go the way we're expecting but, as the saying goes, time will tell.

My husband and I have had a long conversation and have decided to pursue moving to another state 1000 miles away. It's terrifying, but I believe it is the right step. We're finally on the same page, and we have both wanted to move away for years but hadn't agreed on a place. Now we've agreed on a place and it's scary but exciting. It's time for a change. Please pray for God's direction and guidance. We haven't told many people but could use all the prayers we could get.

That's wonderful! It sounds like the Lord is leading you somewhere else :) Prayers for you!

We've been looking at a different state for when my husband retires and have joined some Facebook groups in the areas and also a Relocate to _______ to get some tips, and help.

Sounds like a big move, and if you've both agreed on where you're headed that's a good sign.

That's a great idea, I'll be sure to do that as we get closer. I was hoping it'd be by the end of the year, but looks like it'll be minimum spring. I told my MIL today because my husband is not really good at communicating and she didn't say a lot, my inlaws are probably going to be a bit of an obstacle but I imagine things will work out. My husband is the only one who can really care for them when they're unable to and he doesn't really want to. He also has a disabled brother (quite autistic and can be violent and he is untreated) that we are unable to care for. Lots of red tape and nuts and bolts to this. But we're ready. We're so ready.

Are the in-laws coming with you then?

No absolutely not. Though we wouldn't mind them living near us, they don't want to leave here. They are mentally unstable, his dad is an atheist and his mom is a really psychotic kind of Christian (the type that believes Autism is because of demons and evil spells) and we keep our distance from them. However, my husband is one of two children and his brother is incapable of handling affairs due to his autism. My husband is also on the spectrum, but not as severely but it does impact how he thinks about things like this. I want them to be safe and cared for, but we cannot have them living in our home. None of them are mentally stable, his mom and brother the least of them, and it's not a great situation. But I still want to make sure they are going to be cared for even if we're not here.
