How are the holy angels helpful to Christians?

Psalm 91:11, 12

He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up on their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Matthew 18:10, 11

“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.”

Luke 16:22

The beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom.

Abraham’s bosom is Paradise or heaven. They didn’t carry his body because that was put in the ground. Death is the soul leaving the body so his soul was carried by the angels to heaven.

This shows that the angels not only watch over us when we’re alive, but when we’re dead as well!

Luke 15:10

“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

And to which of the angels has he ever said,

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:13-14)

Most angels are in the masculine sense, but there is one instance of female in Zechariah 5:9.
Greetings in Christ JESUS, sister

Zechariah 5:9 - Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

Interpreting: --> 9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women(two Churches -Gentile Church-Colossians 1:24, and Jewish Church-Hebrews 12:23) and the wind(the angel of the Lord) was in their wings(Gabriel or Michael); for they had wings like the wings of a stork(by analogy or even allegory see Revelation 12:14 combined with Isaiah 60:8): and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven (heaven?Ephesians 1:3-8)

That's how I interpret it having the Word of GOD as the source of interpretations, but you can improve the interpretation preferably through the Word of our GOD..

God bless

About twenty five years ago I woke up around midnight to find something floating over me. It wasn't formed and it also was not formed. It was something yet it was nothing like I had ever seen. It was and still is nearly impossible to describe. I realized I wasn't sleeping so I started yelling at the entity to leave me alone while at the same time swatting at it with my arms and hands flailing. This startled my wife who was laying next to me. This went on for another thirty seconds or so then I jumped up and turned on the light and the entity disappeared. We went back to steep.

About 6 am that morning we woke up to the phone ringing. It was my wife's mother informing us that my wife's best friend had died from cancer about midnight. Was this entity our friend who had just died of cancer? I certainly think so. Did our friend transition to an angel and was saying goodbye on her way to heaven? She was a devout follower of Jesus in her mid-30s who left behind three children and a husband. She may have left others behind, but she made an everlasting impact on me.

Cancer, among many other malignant diseases, is a way for the Devil to mortally wound people.

On the other hand, he is also skilled and even transforms himself into an angel-2 Corinthians 11:13-15.

As for the number 30, it always appears to identify betrayal or betrayers-Matthew 28:9.

When we die, we don't become angels. Angels are created beings.

I go to the authority:

24 Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God? 25 For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. (Matthew 12:24-25)

All English translations agree that Jesus stated we will be "like" or "as" angels in heaven. We are created beings that will be similar to the angels in heaven if we believe when we die.

We won't become angels, no scripture supports that. Instead, we will have new bodies.

So you don't believe the words of Jesus in Matthew? You don't believe that we will be like angels in heaven? You don't believe that my wife's best friend appeared to me looking like a spirit immediately after she died?

Why do you believe that you will get a new body rather than taking the form of an angel like Jesus said?

Matthew does not say we WILL be angels. Just that we will be like them and that means that we get to be near God, serving Him, like they are.

I never said we will be angels. Jesus said we will be like angels and I believe that. How are we different? That’s above my pay grade.

At my church, we recently went through a bible study on angels and demons. I left my papers at church in my folder, but I'm still exploring the topic more at home. I have a file from a study a pastor I met online gave to me many years ago, so I'm looking through that now.

One thing that was brought up is that Jesus didn't die for the angels. The good angels are "holy", so they don't need Jesus to die for them and as for the fallen angels, we know that they don't repent in the end. Jesus did not die for them either, He died for mankind.

I'll be adding more things to this thread, but others are welcome to add too.
Thats correct
