Have you all had enough of politics mixing into religion?

USA politics looks very divisive and tribal from Australia but maybe it looks peaceful and coherent or something else from within the USA, as for voting for Kamala, it seemed like it might be the lesser of the evils available if you want to vote, not voting is also an option.
I considered not voting at all.

Voting is important for politicians to learn what is the will of the people in the land.

In my student days literally every single time there was an election for any position one of the ballot options was some variation of "none of the above". If that option won the election was invalidated and another election was held, with all of the candidates in the invalidated election barred from standing in the new election.

The problem with the elections we have now is that you have to either choose a major party candidate or effectively waste your vote on a minor party. There's no way to indicate that you don't really want either of the major party candidates, and a vote for Candidate A could mean anything from "I think A is the best thing to ever grace our political system" to "I think A is the second-worst possible candidate for this position, I'd rather vote for a turnip than either of these two, and the only possible outcome worse than A winning is B winning". But both count the same, and both give A the freedom to crow about their mandate if they gather enough of them.

However, the reasoning and ideals of those who voted for Donald Trump and the Republican Party are far more complex; they should not be dismissed as foolish, immoral, or demonic, as some extreme claims on social media suggest.
The democrats have a strong image as an elitist party. It's so elitist, that it is even turning off people in their coalition like blacks and Hispanics.

They've strayed from their course, which was for the working class people. Now Trump is for the working class people.

The Democrats insist they haven't abandoned the working class although it seems much of what they try and do either alienates the working class or prices them out of everything in sight.

Generally it seems the working class have more pressing concerns than worrying about pronouns, and the relentless push to electrify everything prices out those who can't afford electric everything. Then the constant increases in the price of electricity helps price out the ones who struggled to buy into the idea in the first place.

Maybe the economy is doing really well if you have a brokerage account and a retirement fund. If you're struggling to put food on the table and keep the lights on the constant increase in the Dow merely reminds you how much money other people have. There's nothing like being told how great everything is when you're being left behind.

Whether Trump will do any better for the working classes remains to be seen but he seems a lot less condescending towards them.

My big issue is he isn't macho, so a fake, or at least, he's a toxic version of it. So now he's portraying himself as some father figure.

Of course, the big problem now is he's installing Christian Zionists into the government, so expect a war.

The Democrats support female supremacy (WOKE etc.). There should be a balance between male and female, but it's not the case these days.

The silly fringes of the Democrats can't even say what a woman is, even as they demand equality for whatever undefined group the term "women" might refer to today.
