I have a feeling she resigned before she was fired. Not sure what difference it would have made to be fired. The thing that matters is that she is gone from a job she should have never have had in the first place.

Could be. However, it doesn't say much for the administration that it allowed so much time to pass without taking any action on its own initiative.

From what I've read about the situation it seems a chimpanzee could have done a better job of securing the perimeter. It's hard to see how a body specifically tasked with protecting high value targets could fail so spectacularly without the head of the body losing their job (through firing or resignation) within a very short time.

It's shabby that it took so long to come to a conclusion like this.
