How often do you go to meetings at church?

I used to be at my previous church almost every night. My husband got so mad because I was rarely home when he got home from work. Whether it was a bible study, choir, ladies group, or other planning committees, I was gone. At this church, I've scaled back, so I don't go to meetings except once every few months now.

If committees actually achieve anything I don't mind serving on them. When they turn into places where people meet to talk a lot and nothing ever happens I rapidly lose interest in them.

most of the time I am working a full time and part time job at the same time so I don't have time to go to committee meetings or things like that. So, almost never would be my answer

We are in a small church mostly of retirees. The only meetings I attend are when the voter's meeting is held immediately after worship. I attend the Sunday morning Bible Study, but otherwise there aren't any meetings.

Pretty much the same for me, too. The Annual Meeting is important and I normally attend, but for other meetings, not unless some agenda item is especially controversial.

The annual meeting should be important but my experience recently is that people share thoughts and the thoughts are then completely ignored. I didn't bother to go to last year's meeting, and don't plan to attend this year's meeting either.
