President Biden, who goes on and on and on constantly about how the rich need to contribute more of their money, reported that he and his wife gave $20,477 to charity (some of which was given to the Biden Foundation which he controls). That's on $620,000 of reportable income. That's 3.3% of his reportable income. 3.3%. This the guy who preaches the Liberal sermon that the rich must let go of more of their money. Laughably hypocritical? Typical of liberals?

For the record, I'm NOT rich - I'm "middle-middle" class. My wife and I gave 14% of our total income to charity (in addition to various taxes - and I live in the People's Republic of California where taxes are absurd).

Your post may remind readers that Tipper and Vice President Al Gore reported the grand total of $353 in charitable contributions made by them in one of the years just prior to his run for the presidency in 2000. That, on an income of approximately $197,000.

Reportable income? Presumably that doesn't include "10% for the big guy"?

Either way it's pretty sad, but more or less what we've come to expect.
