Have you been doing Advent Devotions? Where do you get yours from?
IMHO, that's one of the best features of the Advent wreath (mentioned here a few days ago), but unfortunately most people who use an Advent wreath simply place it somewhere and think of it as another Christmas decoration.
The prayers appointed for the Sundays in Advent -- from the Book of Common Prayer, in my case --are really very informative, especially since they seem out of place to some readers but actually catch the real meaning of the Advent season. For some people who have put up their tree, etc. by early December, their expectation is that Advent devotions will have the same message as the lessons for Christmas Day..
