The instruments sound so good and it takes awhile before they sing and it's beautiful!

Umm Hmmm. That was a time when bands played on records.

I don't care for decorating the house. Usually I put the lights on the tree and then leave my wife to do the decoration more or less however she wants. This year we have a cat, so no tree. My job just got easier, but then she found an old ceramic light-up tree that needed rewiring so I got to do that instead.

I took a long piece of garland and put it with my pictures on the wall just to decorate a corner of my apt. I have a small tree about 2.5 ' tall and my friend is going to give me lights to put on it. Have fun rewiring your little tree tango!! :)

Rewiring the tree was interesting. It should have been a simple process, it's little more than a light bulb with a switch - but it just didn't work. It turned out the switch was faulty, so I ended up having to rewire the entire thing to replace the switch and then found that because the length of cable that was intended to go to the switch had to go to the tree instead, the tree couldn't go where we originally wanted it because the cable wasn't long enough. Normally it might have been but we had to route the cable in a way so that the cat couldn't pull on it and bring down the tree. Oh what fun...

Then for good measure I got to dismantle a heater that failed to see if I could fix it and save the cost of a new one. Luckily that turned out to just need a new power cable, which was easy enough to do.

You sure know how to fix things. I should take up learning how to fix things like that. Glad you don't have to get another heater.
