Pro-life. I was Democrat when I was younger because I believed that some Democrat politicians were pro-life, but a friend of mine told me that it didn't matter, the Democrats as a whole were not pro-life and wouldn't vote for the things I wanted. So I switched to Independent for a few years. Then it seemed most of those weren't pro-life either.

I believe in the government doing a lot more butting out and leaving people to get on with their own lives. Of the two major parties in the US it seems neither is desperately good at that but the Republicans are at least marginally better so I'd lean towards them.

Immigrants. Of course anti abortion, anti euthanasia and pro Israel, but then still I have the choice between 2 and one is friendlier for immigrants.
