The decision comes as conservative parent activists, including state-based chapters of the group Parents United, descend on school boards and statehouses throughout the United States, sowing alarm about how sex and violence are talked about in schools.

A copy of the complaint obtained by The Salt Lake Tribune through a public records request shows that the parent noted the Bible contains instances of incest, prostitution and rape. The complaint derided a “bad faith process” and said the district was “ceding our children’s education, First Amendment Rights, and library access” to Parents United.

It was just a matter of time in this country that has left God already.

The U.S. has been willing to remove references to the Bible in public places already, such as courthouses. She has been willing to allow people of other faiths, or no faith, into public office. She has been willing to unite around 'diversity' when God in the Bible clearly divides fallen man. She has been willing to pass laws to protect what God calls an abomination. LGBTQ. She is willing to demonize and place sanctions against a country that holds a Biblical view of LGBTQ. Sudan. She is willing to demonize Bible believing Christians as evil and radical and enemies of the State.

Will Christians be upset? Why? The vast majority don't carry a Bible to Church anymore. Most only believe what they want to agree with in the Bible, disregarding the other, if not removing it altogether by changing it.

This is just another mile marker on the road the U.S. is on.

If you're a born-again Christian, and have a real Bible, and revere it as the Word of God, better buy now enough of those to last your life time. Because the road the U.S. is on, doesn't stop here.

My opinion.

That is good. Radical muslim countries with Sharia law don't have a Biblical view.

Death penalty for Christian in Sudan
A court in Sudan has sentenced a Christian woman to death for refusing to become a Muslim again. The 27-year-old woman is mother of a 1-year-old and eight months pregnant with a second child.

She was also sentenced to lashes for allegedly committing adultery by marrying a Christian South Sudanese man.

The ambassadors of the US, Britain and the Netherlands have lodged a protest with the Sudanese government. They say the verdict violates universal human rights.

Four Christians in Sudan face the death penalty for converting from Islam to Christianity.

You make my point.

Bidens sanctions are based upon the LGBTQ.

Those sharia muslims are anti lgbtq. Killing them is so hypocrit, cause there are hetero's that cheat with half the neighbourhood, with some filthy disease, but they only punish women for that and gays. If such a monster rapes a woman she gets the death penalty for it. Sounds as Biblical and christian as the pharisees who wanted to kill the woman caught in adultery.

There was a gay guy on a christian forum. His parents were mad at him for being gay. It's their fault. I dare to bet that they had sex before marriage, so an unclean demon could come in and even if not, then when he cried out to God as a teen to change him, they and that church should have kicked that unclean demon out and helped him, but they just leave em be and then whine that he should be abstinate without any help, while they just have sex themselves.

What is your opinion on the subject of this thread?

I don't know if they're serious or just want to make a point, so all their lousy books can stay too.

I agree with the Bible ban. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah seriously gets me hot.
I used to rip pages out of the toddler Bible for my son. I even ripped the pic of Jesus on the cross out of it, because I was afraid it would upset him. I once read the toddler Bible to my nephew and when I read that Herod wanted to kill baby Jesus he got totally upset and I had to make it good again. No no. Nothing happened and the angel gave the bozo herod a hit, but that didnt make him stop crying either. My parents took me to a museum when I was 6 and there was a painting of John the baptist's head on a plate and I got a nightmare from it. The father from Corrie ten Boom would skip all the not nice things when he read the Bible for his kids. When she grew up and read it herself she was shocked.

Really. I was taught bible stories since I was a little kid. Never did any of them incite me to violence, or rape or anything else. Btw, my quote above is meant to be tounge-in-cheek.

The bible teaches against such things as incest, prostitution, and rape. I'd bet that those wanting to ban the bible are into all forms of sexual immorality. Why else want the bible banned? "Turn the light out, you're exposing our depravity" is what they'd say, if they were honest. Which they're not. God's word is final and unchanging.
This life is temporary and if it ends standing for the truth, then so be it. One thing I know is that I am on the road to my home in the New Jerusalem. Nothing will change that.
" 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
- Romans 8: 38, 39

It certainly got Sodom and Gomorrah hot. Doesn't bother me.

Of course you agree with the Bible ban, you're not a believer. What a revelation that is.

The real revelation is that you can't understand sarcasm.

The real revelation is that I understand BS.
