37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?”

Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Oh wait, you only mean the last sentence. I thought it was a test, cause I have never seen that text, but that's what you say and it goes against what John says:

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess [a]that Jesus [b]Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Paul said it was good to even check him:

Acts 17:11

11 These were more [a]fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

The thing is, your pastor may be good and just tell you to pray or not sin or whatever, but these last days even the best pastor can go wrong. Don't hang on a person.
I do not care what Paul said.

Jesus said it and that is final.
End of story.

If you do not believe Jesus
then there is nothing left to talk about between you and I.

Jesus stated , them who are of the truth hear His voice.

You can put that one line, that one statement in any context, and it will be the truth.

END OF DISCUSSION.

You don't care what Paul said but you quoted him in the OP when you quoted Hebrews.

It is unknown who wrote Hebrews.
And I do not care what they quoted of Paul in reply
of what I quoted that Jesus said about them who knew His voice.

You are wasting your time trying to find any error in anything I say on your forum.

Jesus only said everyone who is of the truth hears His voice. Yes. So? Where does He say not to test? The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to say that. The Bible is God's Word. Not testing, that's what they said in Toronto and Rodney Howard Browne always made fun of ppl testing. Loads walked away with Todd Bentley. To deceive if it were possible even the elect. Whatever. If you don't even listen to Paul, I guess it useless to try make you listen to me, so I hope you don't fall for some false teacher.

Ahh...you're another one of those coming here to tell us we're all wrong and you're the only one with the real truth. Got it.

And, by the way, is a self-described "seeker" who rejects books of the Bible permitted by the rules to post on a "Christians Only" thread?

Because you do not obey all the commandments of Jesus Christ.

And if you say to me,
" Which ones do I disobey?"

My answer is... most all of them.
In comparison to the law keeping of Jesus Christ, we all disobey, including you. That's why I look to His imputed righteousness, not my own which are filthy rags.

Interesting.
Jesus hand picked Peter.
Peter put his stamp of approval on Paul...

2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

But you don't care what Paul says?

Jesus even hand picked a devil.

John 6:70
Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve,
and one of you is a devil?

Nope, I do not care what Paul said.

But if you do, then by all means obey him. I am not stopping you.

Not true.

If you believe this then, you would not believe what you stated to me.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.

Here is what I am, since you follow Paul, I will use his words for you.

1 Corinthians 9:22
To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak:
I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

The only way that is the truth for you is if you obey His commandments all the time.
Obedience to His commandments is His imputed righteousness.

?

Why did you say Yes to acceptance of the Trinity and Nicene Creed then if you aren't a Christian?

Why do you ask me questions when you can read the answers to the questions already posted?
