I have a Teclast T30 android tablet. It's good. Battery life is about 11 hours per charge for reading and entertainment on full brightness. It has Android 9.

I have a 2014 Samsung Galaxy Note that still mostly works. It runs Android 5, which is the most recent version you can get for it. A lot of apps don't work with such an old Android version and the battery is more or less shot, but it works.

I recently bought a 2022 Samsung A8. A cheapie tablet but it does what I need it to do. I considered the larger version, which upgraded from a 10" screen to a 12" screen but it also meant doubling the price, and I don't need the bigger screen.

Earlier this year I bought a Chrome Tablet, a Lenovo Ideapad Duet 5. It's rather nice and gets updates quite regularly from Google. So far it's been a very good experience.

I think tablets are lame. I really wanted one until I got one (Samsung). Now I regret having purchased it. It was a waste of money. It seems heavy (compared to a phone) and uncomfortable to use. I suppose it could be useful for work and stuff, but for entertainment, nah, I prefer the smartphone.

You may be younger than I; for me the tablet is a pleasure for the eyes because it is big.

I prefer a tablet for reading because you can get so much more text on the screen at once. For web browsing you can see a decent site without having to scroll both ways.

I wouldn't want to try and carry one around the way I carry a phone but if I'm going somewhere in the car it's easy enough to slip it into a pocket on the back of the front seats.

I use mine for fun and I use it for work. Work has Samsungs and I find it tedious to use and it is small. I like the size of the print for the iPad I have.
