Baptism in Jesus’ name,

The Command: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Matthew 28:19 (KJV 1900)

The Interpretation: “(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)” Acts 8:16 (KJV 1900)

“And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.” Acts 10:48 (KJV 1900)

“When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 19:5 (KJV 1900)

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38 (KJV 1900)

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?” Romans 6:3 (KJV 1900)

Well, non-trinitarians don't baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, do they?

That is true, all right.

But where in Scripture is there any demonstration of it being done that way?

The Apostles demonstrated the proper method of Baptism:

(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)” Acts 8:16 (KJV 1900)

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?” Romans 6:3 (KJV 1900)

If you look further, immersion in water is the only proper definition of Baptism.

I think that baptism in the name of Jesus (or similar) is the name of the baptism. It identifies a particular baptism i.e. not John's baptism or various Jewish ritual baptisms (tevilah)

Mt 38:18 specifies the words to be use in this baptism. It defines a part of the method of baptism,

But when the Apostles baptized in Jesus' name, they revealed the personal name of the triune God. The Bible is full of the same. But many are lethargic in their personal studies and miss it. One poster even ends up with God's one essence cut up into 3 pieces trying to say only the Son was in Christ.

Is anyone really baptized if not in the way defined and illustrated by the Apostles? I repented from the Catholic version everyone uses today and found a Trinitarian Church to Baptize me in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Trinitarian churches baptize in the trinity (in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit).

But not according to scripture. They use the Antichrist Pope's method instead. This proves he still sits in the Temple of God as always.

If you truly believed that the one and true triune God is the one baptizing, you'd have no problems baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

You are referring to the heretical United Pentecostal Church. They don't know the truth, but possibly more than the average Church does about baptism. I'm a trinitarian, as revealed by Jesus and the Apostles in the only method of baptism mentioned and demonstrated in scripture. Baptized in Jesus' name by immersion by an independent church of the Southern Baptist denomination.

Does history repeat itself? I got rebaptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, the only scriptural method you will ever find, and most, just as their churches did back in the day, come against me for being obedient to Christ. Thank God for ending the horrors even Stephen King could not imagine with the USA's separation of Church and State laws.
