So what do you think? Explain it if you know. That's in the quote.

I'm talking about "Eternal Sonship" vs "Incarnate Sonship". One is true, the other heresy. Scripture teaches "Eternal Sonship".The quote says this:
the Father is eternal, the Son eternal, the Holy Spirit eternal; yet they are not three who are eternal, but there is one who is eternal,
That answers your question and there is no explanation needed beyond that UNLESS, as I asked, if you're asking about the two natures of Christ?

Not at all. Two versions of the Trinity. One true, the other false. So you ARE talking about Christ's two natures. That's what I asked before.

I accept all the Ecumenical Creeds. But more detail is available than in the Athanasian creed. Why does your church have its own creed if this is not true?Maybe you could explain what you mean then since you don't accept the Athanasian Creed?

I'm very careful with wording which is why I quoted the creed.
Now, if you could tell me what you mean by Son in the way you worded your question, then that would be helpful? I'm having a feeling it has to do with the two natures of Christ that would be your answer.
I don't think you understand the Trinity doctrines by your accusing me of that. And if you could prove me wrong, you would have already done so. I believe all of the Ecumenical Creeds are spot on in what they teach. That is where I learned the details of the Trinity and Christology. Why don't you explain the Trinity and the two natures of Christ so we can clear my name from your false charges? In front of everyone? Would you be willing to debate me against you and your special friend's false charge?Dave's ignorance of two of THE most basic, essential dogmas of Christianity is stunning, isn't it? Heretical views of the Trinity, heretical ones of the Incarnation/Two Natures of Christ.
But Lamb, there is no discussion with him. It's impossible to try to discuss anything with one who considers himself infallible and who admits he doesn't always read what others post to him.
.
If the Athanasian Creed is exhaustive, why have more creeds? It is very elementary. What do you mean by "Why does your church have its own creed"? I don't understand this part of your question.

Yet few read or understand them. The evidence is, Creeds unify, and ignorance of them divides.Creeds were written to denounce specific heresies. That's why.
