The Gentiles were baptised in the holy ghost by hearing and believing the gospel.
Not from being submerged in water.

Acts 11:9-17
The voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.
Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.
He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.
He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.’
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

I'm sure there are some on here who would still say they need to be baptised by a man in water as if God didn't clean them.

We call them "Bible believers."

There are Alot of people who have never recieved the holy spirit who believe they are doing God's work.
They call themselves "Bible believers" as well.

Mathew 7:22

Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’
Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

A careful reading of Acts will show that only the Apostles had the Baptism of the Holy Spirit along with those they laid their hands on. The exception was the gentile outpouring 7 years after Pentecost at Cornelius' house. All believers have the gift of the Holy Spirit but the baptism ceased with the Apostles who administered it. Repentance brings the fullness of the Spirit.

What happened at Cornelius'house is the same that happened at my house. I was reading Matthew's account of the gospel and after believing the gospel in was baptised by God. It was a fulfillment of Christ's words in the gospel.

Mark 16:15-16
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Many people who have not been baptised in the holy spirit would argue that he is speaking of water baptism and not the holy ghost.

There are also many who preach being baptised in water is being baptised in the name of the Father when it's not.
Being baptised in water only cleans the outside of the flesh. It never cleans the inside of a person.

Those who have not recieved the holy ghost mislead Alot of people while not knowing they are. They argue which is the correct way of being baptised when they have never recieved the holy ghost.

Scripture does not support your claim. We need to fit with scripture. Not make scripture fit us.

The scripture that supports my claim is the OP.
My point is proven and your misleading of others is appalling.

You need to prove your experience from scripture to validate it.

I just did.
You are the one who claims what God has cleansed is unclean.
You believe it must be administered by man and not God.
Read the OP.

Your experience must conform to the bible for it not to be false teaching.

Why do you not believe what is written?
Read the OP. It came from the Bible.

I recieved the exact same baptism as in acts.
You are trying to discredit the acts of the apostles and the work of God.

People who have never recieved the holy spirit baptism do not comprehend the baptism of the holy spirit.
They will argue their water baptism which is the only baptism they have recieved till their dying day.

You can't get any more biblical than that.

The apostles on the day of pentacost also were not baptised in water.

That's because that was a special occasion for them as Jesus said. He was preparing them for their mission and giving them the gift of the Holy Spirit. We can receive the Holy Spirit in baptism (which is water and the word). It's a promise God gives us.

It was a special occasion for me when I was baptised by God as well. Up until that day, I didn't know God. Then I found him.

You received faith! Now go ye and get yourself baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Don't despise God's promises to you.

No. God baptised me in his holy spirit. He did it himself without your help. I'm testifying that he can and does do that.
