The angels that sinned are reserved in Tartarus (rendered "hell" in 2 Peter 2:4). Tartarus per the Greeks represents the deepest part of the abyss or pit. So those cannot be the demons roaming the earth.

God's Word does not support any idea of the existence of aliens.

I believe the alien theory is being pushed in preparation for the coming Biblical event of Revelation 12:7-9 which has not happened yet, and is for the very end of this world, and directly related to what Lord Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:37-39.

So BEWARE: if your pastor is teaching you that the casting out of Heaven event of Revelation 12:7-9 about Satan and his angels already happened long ago, then that is a false teaching for the deceived when he and his angels are cast down to our earthly dimension for the coming "great tribulation".

Most aliens in California are Mexicans.

Definition of alien
1) from a foreign country
2) unearthly

Definition of extraterrestrial
1) Anything not of earth
2) science fiction being

There are several explanations for the origin of demons
1) Spirits of the Giants whose bodies were destroyed in the flood
2) Spirits of angelic beings
3) disembodied spirits of a race that existed before Adam
Origin of the word demon it's from the Greek / Latin whose meaning is supernatural being / Spirit of a lesser God / angel

Alien the phrase was coined in the 1950s meaning not of this world science fiction.
But the United States, Russia, China, Australia, Chili oh have been vividly searching for extraterrestrials. And the United States began investigating them right after the Roswell incident in 1947.
Military personnel have went on record in interviews and before Congress of their sightings of UAPs, they now called them, instead of UFOs.
The Pentagon recently released radar video of unidentified flying objects.
To US presidents have reported seeing UFOs Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. President Barack Obama said we don't know what they are.

Whatever they are they are extraterrestrial / alien by today's terms.

And to be open-minded and honest what is spoken of in scripture concerning our Lord God and Angelic beings there are some close similarities in descriptions and activities. None of them are from Earth which makes them extraterrestrial according to the definition of the word. The word alien shouldn't even be used it sounds like scientific mumbo jumbo.

Are they fallen angels - good question - 1/3 of the angelic host was cast down to earth, so there is a possibility that "some" of those fallen angels are.

Hello I'd like to ask you a question concerning when the devil and his angels were cast out of heaven, hopefully you don't mind.

Why did Jesus say he beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. That indicates it already happened.

Michael Heiser, a contemporary author/theologian, Books - Dr. Michael Heiser thinks demons are the spirits of the Nephilim that died, not having gone to heaven or hell. But instead, roam the earth looking for humans to occupy. They originally came from angels who mated with human women before the flood.

“That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” Genesis 6:2 (KJV 1900)

“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Genesis 6:4 (KJV 1900)

If you continue... reading there in Revelation 12:7 forward, you will discover that casting out there is linked with events that are to happen only... at the very end of this world.

Rev 12:10-11
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God,
and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
KJV

Why would any serious and truthful Bible student want to listen to preachers who stop at the Revelation 12:9 verse, and not keep reading the above verses which are hard linked to the latter days, and NOT to the time of old when Satan first rebelled and was cast out? Lord Jesus hadn't even been born in the flesh yet to die on the cross when Satan first rebelled and fell.

Furthermore, the Book of Job reveals that even after Satan had originally fallen by his rebellion of old, he was still able to appear before God's throne to accuse God's servants. But at THIS point here in Revelation 12:7-9, Satan and his angels are literally... cast out of the heavenly dimension altogether and no longer allowed to accuse us before God's Throne.

And when did those in verse 11 above overcome by the blood of The Lamb (Jesus) back at Satan's original rebellion and fall, because Jesus had not even been born to die on the cross yet back then? Some folks just are not thinking but are blindly following a 'system' of men.

So how can one just bypass these Biblical Scripture facts in favor of some traditionalist that is just following the status quo interpretation some man or organization devised long ago?

I'd say that is more probable, since the Isaiah 26:14 is pointing to the giant hybrids in the Hebrew.

Isa 26:14
14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are
deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast Thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
KJV

The Hebrew for "deceased" should have been translated to Rephaim, another name for the giants. That is who that is talking about that "shall not rise", i.e., shall not resurrect. That verse also is a Biblical proof that the giants were a real hybrid offspring from rebellious angels. How?, some might ask. It's because ALL flesh men that have died will have a resurrection from the dead, but not these, which means these are literally hybrids that God had no hand in creating. And that's why the Nephilim had to be destroyed.

You wrote in the book of Job it is written even after Satan had *originally fallen* by his rebellion of old, was still able to appear before God. (He was already cast out of heaven down to earth) ( he still had the ability to come / that's why scripture says "and Satan came" _ from my point of view)

I am very familiar with the book of Revelations I actually started trying to study it when I was around 9 or 10 of age and throughout my years of life have studied it. I just understand Revelation 12:10-11 differently. And when I read the whole chapter my understanding 1st the devil and his angels were "cast out" of heaven down to earth 2) the fleshly birth of Jesus 3) after the resurrection of Christ, the devil knew his time was short and begin to fiercely Rage war against believers.

Scripture says the prince of this world has been judged John 16:11.
And also scripture tells us that the Earth is on the judgment, and the prince of this world will be cast out John 12:31 _ (out into the lake of fire)

Because of a difference in understanding of scripture doesn't mean that one isn't a serious and truthful Bible student or that one has overlooked any Scripture for traditional teachings, or blindly following the systems of men.
I was just curious - I've never heard or even thought of your point of view.

In the 50s and 60s we were taught that people would start disappearing because God was going to come and take them what they call the pre-tribulation rapture. I used to wonder when was that going to happen. As I got older I began to study and frankly disagree with pre-tribulation rapture - so I am not one that adheres to traditional teachings.

Thank you and I do understand how you believe in the manner that you do - which is why I asked the question.

If demons can drive people to suicide, who knows else what they're doing?

You can see their activities in scripture. Everything from sickness to false teaching, to paralysis, to fortunetelling. All of those Jesus delivered were Christians. Even the Gadarene demoniac had 6,000 demons. They gain access through occult practices.

“And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” Acts 19:16 (KJV 1900)

And as a result: “Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.” Acts 19:19 (KJV 1900)

False teaching in churches: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” 1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV 1900)

And drug use: sorcery especially exercised through the mixture of substances to make potions; especially used of poison-making. Logos Fact Book.

“And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,” Luke 8:2 (KJV 1900)

All of those Jesus delivered were Christians.
They were practicing Judaism and believed in YHWH. They were waiting for the Messiah and intended to obey Him when He was to arrive. Is that what you mean by "Christians"?

All were believers = Christians.

Have any of you been part of an exorcism? I've seen some frightening deliverances back in my Pentecostal days. Pentecostals are off the rails like most churches today but are quite biblical when it comes to demons.

But, Dave, even the demons believe in His existence and they tremble. Are the demons Christians?
The Demons don't have saving faith. They believe by sight going back a long way as enemies of Jesus.

But, Dave, I did not ask you about having "saving faith" (whatever that might mean). You said that the people who had the demons cast out of them were believers, not that they had saving faith. And then you said that all believers are Christians. That is simply not true. Christian means follower of Christ. Christians are those who obey Christ, not simply believe in Him.

Most "Christians" are not followers of Christ. So I use the term loosely. But Christ delivered true believers from demons in the NT. DO you live the Sermon on the Mount? That is what it takes to follow Christ.

I mean, I don't think that the sermon on the mount encompasses everything it takes to follow Christ, and no, I don't live it because it says nothing about "blessed are those who live with chronic pain or health problems".
