Yes, and although this one was a big storm, the fact that hurricanes hitting the USA mainland have been fewer than normal for some years leading up to 2022 drew no mention from the folks who have predicted the end of the world occurring within this decade, thanks to "Climate Change."

Yeah, right. This has been a rather quiet hurricane season. This is Ian which means we haven't even gone through the alphabet once, whereas, some years we have had to start through a second time. Think she needs to learn a bit about climatology to understand how these form, but coming from a northern state which isn't affected by hurricanes she doesn't have clue.

Was the end of the world meant to be this decade? I thought it was last decade. It's so hard to keep up...

Indeed. Your point is valid. This has been going on since the late 1900s.

I was thinking of the more recent predictions made by various Democrat politicians, however.

You wouldn't mean people like Barack Obama, who spent years preaching about climate change bringing on coastal storms and catastrophic rises in sea levels but apparently thought spending millions on oceanfront property was a good idea?

If I believed in climate change causing catastrophic rises in sea levels and coastal storms I think I'd be looking somewhere more like Colorado for my retirement home.

I think she's trading on stoking the gullibility factor in her Left wing base .
After all, gullibility is a huge factor, right? Case in point, NY voters thought AOC should be re-elected to office. And she was...
