I totally agree with you there, but when the issue is me "not having time for" certain things that have become common in our society...Number One is the expectation that I am going to speak the fashionable language of Woke instead of English.
With a little practice, jargon like cisgendered, LatinX, and whatever the other guy's "preferred pronouns" happen to be are received in just about the same way that a strong accent or a speech impediment would be. In other words, not as an alternate language but more like a collection of the speaker's peculiar patterns of speech, slang, mispronunciations, and etc.
Be polite when you have this stuff laid on you, but when it comes to your response...be mindful that those people can speak and write whichever way they choose. At the same time, the rest of us are entitled to have and exercise that same right.
