42. I thought everybody knew that...
Yeah, so my sister told me.

To her I said, "If you want to know the meaning of life, live a life of meaning".

A quick lesson in what should be self-evident.

Sir Isaac Newton DISCOVERED the Second Law of Thermodynamics, however, Newton did not CREATE the mechanisms (underlying physical laws) that govern the function of the universe. God created THERMODYNAMICS and ENTROPY … Newton merely quantified the mathematics of God’s universe (and only an approximation at that).

THEREFORE, it was GOD who created a universe with a built in countdown to increasing entropy … God’s universe was created with a built in expiration date. If you cannot see the magic of that, I am sad for you.

God's universe has no expiration date. It too is eternal.

Are you sadder still?

Does science somehow cease to apply because someone becomes a Christian?

I have to say I haven't found any relief from the laws of gravity. That whole thing about equal and opposite reactions is also a bit of a drag too. You'd have thought that "life in all its fullness" we were promised would include freedom from the annoying laws of physics, no?

Science cannot answer the 'why'.

Science can only address it's incomplete knowledge of the world. Which itself can change as it learns something else.

Well, it may be that the created world did no have an expiration date. The whole entropy thing appears to have entered at the fall.
Probably true, but a distinction without a difference since the fall did not catch God by surprise … His plan was set “before the foundation of the world”. [Ephesians 1:4]

Here is a quick lesson. I already cited that in post #(15).

God creating a New Heaven and New Earth has nothing to do with the earth having an 'expiration date' based on the laws that God based the earth and universe on.

God's laws concerning the creation are eternal. They will exist, the earth and universe will exist, until He destroys it Himself and creates a new heaven and new earth.

Try to keep up.

Nonetheless, the pre-fall world was created to last forever. It underwent a change to make it an expiring world. Knowing about that change beforehand did not negate the everlasting nature of the pre-fall world.

You are rude and clueless … a deadly combination for any meaningful communication.
Good riddance.

Let's see, you said you were sad for me in post #(17) because I just couldn't understand some things. You repeat the same here in saying I am clueless. So, who is rude first? I do have a tendency to answer in kind.

And you really didn't answer my post #(27).

Your 'good riddance' is up to you. I will always respond.
