Well yes, and hope of deliverance from this corrupted Creation is one of the Gospel messages.Well, the world needed to end once sin entered the picture, don't you think?
I expect there are a variety of reasons.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics (for one reason).I expect there are a variety of reasons.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics (for one reason).
“The second law of thermodynamics states that the total entropy of an isolated system (the thermal energy per unit temperature that is unavailable for doing useful work) can never decrease.”
… so heat will continue to flow from higher to lower energy until the “energy death” of the universe.
Sometimes things in the "spiritual" harmonise with things in the "natural". Sublime Synchronicity one author calls it.How interesting? You run to the worlds science instead of Scripture. The law of thermodynamics. That's deep.
Sorry, but the worlds explanation, and yours, doesn't reach to God and the Christian.

And the meaning of life is . . .Answer first...why did this world have to begin? Probably a variety of reasons there also.

The world as we know it has to end in order for the "New Creation" to take place. At some point in time God will make "all things new". There will be no more sin or sorrow and the world will be perfect once again.
Yes, true. Science as a discipline is confined to what can be observed, measured, recorded, repeated, and then predicted. This does not exclude scientists from exercising faith that they will discover various truths, but Divinity is most certainly beyond the reach of the discipline of science.Only God has the answers of 'why' concerning the creation. And they are only found in His written Word, the Bible.
A quick lesson in what should be self-evident.How interesting? You run to the worlds science instead of Scripture. The law of thermodynamics. That's deep.

Well, it may be that the created world did not have an expiration date. The whole entropy thing appears to have entered at the fall.THEREFORE, it was GOD who created a universe with a built in countdown to increasing entropy … God’s universe was created with a built in expiration date. If you cannot see the magic of that, I am sad for you.
