It appears the probability of the fulfilment of Rev 12:1-2 on 23 Sept 2017 is very very high. Rosh Hashanna or Feast of Trumpets is Sept 23, 2017.

Seems a bit late to me because the child - being the Lord Jesus Christ - is already born.

I'm very confident that the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is not a second incarnation. He is already incarnate and that can't be re-done.

Then maybe, relooking at the "woman and child" in context of it being a revelation of what is shortly coming to pass, is a valid consideration.

Ok...

I was thinking more along the lines of Travail.

1. Sarah, who brought forth Isaac (Genesis 11:30, 16:1, 18:1-15, 21:1-8)
2. Rebekah, who brought forth Esau and Jacob (Genesis 25:21-26)
3. Rachel, who brought forth Joseph and Benjamin (Genesis 29:31, 30:1,22-24, 35:16-18)
4. Manoah's wife, who brought forth Samson (Judges 13:2-24)
5. Ruth, who brought forth Obed (Ruth 4:13)
6. Hannah, who brought forth Samuel (1 Samuel 1:2-20)
7. Elizabeth, who brought forth John the Baptist (Luke 1:7-13,57)

Honestly, I wouldn't give any credence to anything published by the Elijah List. As far as I can tell they have an unenviable track record of "prophecies" that are either so vague as to be useless, or that don't come to pass. I can honestly say I have yet to read a single "word" on that site that I didn't regard as utter drivel.

I think he made some very good points and comparisons.
Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
The analogy is obvious. We all will "travail" whether we believe it or not. The difference will be in the outcome. Some birth sorrow and death, while others will give birth to new life.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
So it is that we have a sign in the heavens as to when this sudden destruction will come and the instructions of what to do just as the sign for the abomination of desolation was given to the apostles before the destruction of the Jerusalem temple in 70 AD. We have to know that "knowing what to look" for is key to knowing the who, what, where, and when. DO you know what the believers saw then that caused them to believe it was the "abomination of desolation" and to flee?

Those who poo poo... are most likely leaving it in the hand of some congregational leader locked into dead end doctrines which do not allow exploring personal and privately the Word of God while praying for His Holy Spirit to lead them. That is the true group of blind leading the blind. They say they see, just like the Pharisee of old did, but their leaders are are all tied up like tares for the flames. Yeshua said then, and He would say now.
Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Those who poo poo may be refusing to see what is right in front of them but may also simply be looking for an explanation as to why someone believes this sign is important while other signs are not. There's a big difference between "that can never happen now" and, for example, "why is this planetary alignment significant when the last one was not?".

If someone can explain why they believe why a particular astronomical observation is significant there's something to consider and discuss. If all someone has to say is a generic comment about signs in the heavens and claim that therefore every little thing that happens in the sky is a sign then it's only a question of time before they start to sound like the kind of person who runs around claiming the sky is falling. They also tend to look like the kind of person who predicts doom and gloom on the basis that sooner or later Something Very Bad will happen and they can claim they were right all along.

:eek:uttahere: Good point.... While exploring the possibilities, one doesn't remove the foundation, one just considers what is out there. Often it more for discussion, observation, and consideration. It doesn't move us off the foundation, it is like checking the clouds to see what is on the horizon... red sky and all.
