It’s not anti-semitic, any more than Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah song that points out various people in Hollywood.

I looked into it, and the overwhelming majority of CEO’s of the major film and television studios are Jewish (not all, obviously, but most).

Now, is that because they’re just the best in the business? Or is it because there’s favoritism and nepotism going on?

Favoritism and Nepotism are prevalent throughout the country.

Feel free to explain to me how it’s anti-Semitic to simply acknowledge the facts and the numbers.

I actually am very impressed by the talent of many Jewish people in Hollywood, like Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenburg, and John Favreu. I’m not anti-semitic. I admire their work.

But I can’t help but think there’s favoritism when I see how Spielberg favors and grooms young Jewish actors and actresses like Shia Lebeuf and Hailey Steinfeld. Or how Judge Judy insists that the best presidential candidate is the Jewish candidate. I mean, come on. There appears to be at least some favoritism here.

Cecil B DeMille is half Jewish half Christian. And I loved the work he did on the Ten Commandments. I also love the work Jeffrey Katzenberg did on the Prince of Egypt. To say I’m anti-Semitic is an inflammatory accusation.

Here is my problem with this, the majority of actors and actresses are not jewish and the history of many of these studios is they were founded by people of the Jewish faith so in reality if it were not for the influence of these peopel perhaps a lot of the great movies and tech advances made would not be today

If I say that many businesses of the past have shown favoritism towards white anglo saxon protestants, does that make me hateful towards Protestants? Obviously not since I am one.

Favoritism is real, in many walks of life.

Of course not everyone working in Hollywood is Jewish. But virtually all the CEO’s and Presidents of the TV and movie companies, including their parent companies, are Jewish, with a few rare exceptions.

Even in basketball, there’s a lot of Jews in control. For example, the Chicago Bulls have a Jewish owner. At least they did when Jordan was playing. It’s just crazy how many Jewish CEO’s and owners there are.

No, I’m not the least bit prejudice in the slightest bit. You made that up. Simply acknowledging the fact that most Hollywood CEO’s and Presidents are Jewish does not make me the least bit prejudice.

I have a friend who’s Jewish. I went over to his house and celebrated Hanukkah with him and his wife. They cooked laktes for me. I have cousins who are Jewish. You don’t know me and you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not prejudice.

But I do acknowledge (as does Adam Sandler) that there’s a lot of Jews in Hollywood. Every major motion picture company besides Disney was founded by Jewish immigrants. That’s a FACT, not a prejudice opinion. Don’t mix the facts with opinions.

These types of statements are at the very beginning of your thread. You started off on the wrong foot and now you're trying to save face. I have ancestors who were Jewish and although I'm not Jewish, I can see the resentment toward them in this thread.

It is a different thing to say something about their theology. But just because they're Jewish and they are in Hollywood trying to be successful? You balk at that? That's prejudice.

The thing that actually got me started on this was Adam Sandler’s song. Not motivated by racism.

As for my question, it’s totally legitimate. Did you know that back in the day, not too long ago, many Protestant-owned businesses would refuse to hire Jewish people? They favored white Protestants over the most talented candidate. And that’s unfortunate, because they lost out on all the talented Jewish, Italian, Catholic, Black, and other talented individuals who were set aside because of religion or race.

That’s not an “Anti-Protestant” thing of me to say. It’s not “anti-white” of me too acknowledge. Favoritism is real. Anyone who denies that is burying their head in the sand. I’m not saving face. You’re just making stuff up.

Why wouldn’t it be likely that there is Favoritism among Jewish owned businesses, like those that are in Hollywood? Protestants show Favoritism but Jews don’t? Use common sense.

How many Christians have been overlooked for roles because of their strong Christian faith? Christians like Jim Caveizel who have been mostly shadow-banned by Hollywood because of his faith?
