Favourite short Drinks?

I myself have had these 8-9 years ago, long time ago. Can't drink today. But in these days, I really liked : apricot brandy, whiskey and scotch. What about you?

A quality cognac or Scotch whisky is good. I've had a few good bourbons and rums as well, although overall I tend to prefer Scotch to bourbon.

It's interesting to compare a range of variations of a similar spirit. I'm not usually much of a tequila drinker but a couple of years back I had a flight of four different tequilas and found the differences very interesting (and tasty).

I very seldom buy bottles of spirits because I don't drink them much. For me they are more of a social thing, which makes it tricky if someone has to drive home afterwards.
