Always
I gave scripture
Isa 7:14 one child
Matt 1:21-23 one child
Lk 1:34 no sex
Lk 1:35 her son is God
None of which says anything about a Perpetual Virginity.
I did not say it does (referring to "And how does Married sexual relations make someone impure? Married sexual relations are Holy and Pure.")
But that is the origin of the myth of Mary being a Perpetual Virgin.
“Bible alone” is a condemned heresy not the rule of faith for a Christian

the rule of faith or source of truth for Christians is Christ and His church[
Only according to the Catholic churches, and that's only because they (whichever one we might be referring to) like to claim to be the one and only true church.

The Roman Church is the only true church according to the Roman Church; the Orthodox Eastern churches claim to be the only true church; and so on, and they all claim that whatever Jesus said about his church was meant only about theirs. It's similar to what the cults say by way of justifying their own existence.

You certainly implied that if Mary did not remain a virgin (or had other children for that matter) that she would no longer be pure.
Then Joseph can in no any way use Mary for a common wife!
This is a dim view of sexuality in marriage. Sex is not "using" each other. It is a Holy and blessed mutual expression of love and devotion that is a gift of God when done in the marriage context. Married sexuality would in no way make Mary less "pure" or less "special" or less "set apart".

Not saying marital sex is bad but a lower good sacrificed to bring a higher good our salvation as Mary is the mother of our salvation

As to the church
There is only one true church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles and their successors, Matt 16:18 & 18:18 eph 2:20 it is the new covenant body of Christ!
One fold Jn 10:16
the household of faith! Gal 6:10
Christ and his church are one acts 9:4
Also an attack on the church is an attack on Christ acts 9:4
Pillar and ground of truth! 1 Tim 3:15

The one true founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles Matt 16:18-19 18:18 prevails until his return without error Jn 16:13 with the same mission power and authority as Christ! Jn 20:21-23

All others are sects built on the tradition of men having ZERO authority from Christ!

Ark of the new covenant!
The dwelling place of God!
God dwelt in Mary’s womb for 9 months, remember the ark was incorruptible wood covered with pure gold signifying Mary’s immaculate purity!
read exodus or any place in the Old Testament where something came into contact with God or was consecrated to the service of God it had to be pure and Holy!
In the ark was the word of God!
In Mary the new ark is the living Word!
In the ark was the mana!
In Mary was the bread come down from heaven! Jn 6
Bethlehem means house to of bread!

Lk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, (Isa 7:14) and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Jn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Holy mother of God!

Lk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Biblical principle:
Anything Consecrated to God must be pure and used only for the purpose of serving God!

See exodus: the ark of the covenant, everything used in the temple etc.

Ezekiel 44:2 “This gate shall remain shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it; for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered by it; therefore it shall remain shut.”

Isa 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Mary and her virginity are Consecrated to God in immaculate purity, the pure gold of divine love!

Mary was the dwelling place of the Almighty, like the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament. Mary was a vessel consecrated to God alone!

Can a man use the ark of the covenant for a common dinner table?

Then Joseph can in no any way use Mary for a common wife!

No mere man may enter where God conceived! Ez 44:2

Mary would not consent to God’s will and to receive the exalted dignity of the mother of God if it means violating her vow of perpetual virginity then why simply consent relations with Joseph!

That’s impossible!

Lk 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

(This verse imply’s that Mary is consecrated to God alone! and has taken a vow of perpetual virginity! She was s willing to refuse even the exalted dignity of mother of God, the mother of our savior, and mother of all Christians if it means violating Her vow of perpetual virginity)

Lk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

She consented to our salvation when she realized it would not violate her vow of perpetual virginity!

No one debates that.... But many (including Catholic apologetics for the past 50 years or more) reject that marital sex is sinful, dirty, and desecrates the wife. Yes, we heard that (weird, very unbiblical) argument from a few Catholics from about 1800 to 1950 or but they WISELY abandoned it. Odd... very odd.... to see you resurrect it.

On the very person of Peter! Not a confession!

It is Jesus Christ who identifies peter with himself! Matt 17:27

Jesus Christ gives the keys of the kingdom to peter matt 16:18-19 making him prime minister applying Isa 22:21-22 to peter

It’s Christ who does this

Why is the name of peter even mentioned?

Why does Christ change Peter’s name, God changing a persons name like Abram to Abraham or Jacob to Israel always signifies a mission or ministry!

Why does Christ give him the keys of jurisdictional authority that the prime minister holds under the king to administer the kingdom?

How do you govern the church and administer the kingdom with a confession?

How do you give jurisdictional authority to a confession? (Keys of the kingdom)

How do you give a confession the power to bind and loose?

also have to explain
Isa 22:21-22 jurisdictional authority of the keys and called father
Matt 28:19 go teach baptize
Jn 20:21-23 same mission power and authority as christ
Eph 2:20 church built on the apostles
Matt 23 successors of Moses have the jurisdictional authority and the power to bind and loose which Christ says must be obeyed, then taken from them matt 21:43 given to Peter and the apostles and their successors

Lk 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: (plural Peter and his successors)
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

I think you already said that. It means as much as saying that Matt 16:18, etc. proves that Christ had one of today's denominations in mind as the only real church and it's the Assemblies of God or the Jehovah's Witnesses or the United Methodist Church.

In other words, anyone and everyone is free to say that his own denomination is the only genuine Christian church and it doesn't mean anything other than that's what that person thinks. Or likes to say to other people.

No I never said sex was sin or impure or unholy
My point is that it is a common purpose and Mary is God’s temple consecrated to God alone
Mary is the temple of God, God consecrated and dwelt in this temple for 9 months and it cannot be used for a ordinary purpose, anymore than you could hold a teen rock & roll dance in the holy of Holies in the temple of God?

Biblical principle:
Anything Consecrated to God must be pure and used only for the purpose of serving God!

See exodus: the ark of the covenant, everything used in the temple etc.

Ezekiel 44:2 “This gate shall remain shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it; for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered by it; therefore it shall remain shut.”

So Joseph cannot enter in where the Holy Spirit has entered!

Song of Solomon 4:12 A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

(Mary had become the dwelling place of the Almighty, like the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament. Mary was a vessel consecrated to God alone?)

Isa 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Mary and her virginity are Consecrated to God in immaculate purity, the pure gold of divine love!

A good tree!

Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

The fruit of the tree of Mary is our salvation! Lk 2:30 Jesus is our salvation!
Lk 1:30 Mary found our salvation!

Christ and his church are one acts 9:4 eph 5:32 the church is an extension of Christ
Christ perpetuates his mission to the whole world and all time through the church

jn 20:21 as the father sent me I send you
Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Acts 1:17 acts 8:31 & 35 acts 9:4 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20 acts 2:42 1 Tim 3:15

Jurisdictional authority:
(Governing / administering)
Necessity of Peter and the apostles and their successors to govern the holy church.

Moral authority:
(Teaching)
Necessity of being taught by the apostles of Christ:
Two edge sword: defining truth and condemning errors.

Spiritual authority:
(Life of Grace)
Sanctifying thru the mass and Sacraments.

In Christ Matt 28-18-20 I am with you, Jn 15:5 in His grace and truth by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jn 1:16-17

Must be taught by the holy church by the apostles! Matt 28:19-20 Lk 1:4 Acts 2:42

That's correct, but you are defending a doctrine that is predicated upon that very idea being true.
Biblical principle:
Anything Consecrated to God must be pure and used only for the purpose of serving God!
Are you not saying here that to be a virgin IS to be consecrated to God and "pure?" If so, you are now affirming that which you refused to affirm just prior to this comment!

I should hope that Christ would be with his Apostles until the end, having told them to take the Gospel to all nations and baptize those peoples!

But it has nothing to do with what we were talking about.

You keep endlessly making the same assertions. Endlessly repeating something doesn't make it true.
  1. Mark 8:35
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

  2. Mark 10:29
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

you also are created by God but

what good is scripture if you don’t believe?

Faith ascents & never protests or rebels!
Spiritual Pride protests & is always in rebellion

    Nature of doctrine:

Truth or doctrine MUST be Revealed by God And Proposed by the church for belief, not spiritual pride and self-righteous private judgement!
    Claim: “scripture alone”
It’s really just the ugly repugnant pride!
It’s no faith at all only spiritual pride and self-righteous private judgement!
They Hope in creatures not in God!

It is unlawful to refuse to accept a truth revealed by God!

    Matt 28:19 eph 4:5 Jude 1:3

My point is that it is a common purpose and Mary is God’s temple consecrated to God alone

Okay,,,, now how does that prove that Mary and Joseph never once shared marital intimacies? The only way (logically) to make your argument (since obviously you have nothing in Scripture) is to say that such a sharing would desecrate the wife.... the sharing ITSELF would, by the very action of it, violate the consecration, indeed desecrate it. The way you are spinning this ENTIRELY depends on this view of the loving, mutual sharing of marital intimacies desecrates of the wife (a position you CLAIM you don't hold). If it does not descrate the wife, then your whole apologetic is worthless.

Mary is the temple of God, God consecrated and dwelt in this temple for 9 months and it cannot be used for a ordinary purpose,

Where does Scripture or logic state that? Jesus dwelt in the world -fully and completely - not for 9 months but for 30 plus YEARS. Can the world thus longer have ordinary purposes? Do crops no longer grow? The sun no longer shine?

anymore than you could hold a teen rock & roll dance in the holy of Holies in the temple of God?

You CLAIM that the marital sharing of intimacies is not wrong or bad and that it desecrates nothing... so your argument here is contradictory of your own view.

So Joseph cannot enter in where the Holy Spirit has entered!

The Holy Spirit enters all at Baptism.

God Himself entered the world at the Incarnation.

Again, you are contradicting your own stance: You claim that a married couple lovingly sharing marital intimacies is NOT evil or wrong or bad... that it does NOT desecrate the wife.... but your entire apologetic (long ago abandoned by Catholic apologetics) wholly rests on that very thing, that marital sex is evil and desecrates the wife (but not husband).

Mary and her virginity are Consecrated to God in immaculate purity, the pure gold of divine love!

..... and the loving, mutual sharing of marital intimacies DESECRATES the wife? See, you can't make this (abandoned) apologetic without turning marital sex into something horrible and evil and bad, something that specifically DESECRATES the wife (but not husband). You want it both ways, but that's impossible. Either this whole drummed up apologetic (first proposed by Catholics around 1800 in a time when this view of sex was coming into vogue) is true OR it's false. And why just Mary's womb? Was Jesus ONLY there? Did She not give birth to Him? Was He not in the world, only in HER?

violating her vow of perpetual virginity

This too is drummed up.... based on an interpretation of a writing the Catholic Church REJECTED as inspired and canonical Scripture, a writing the Catholic Church declared CANNOT be used as normative for doctrine. The Bible that your church says IS to be used normatively says NOTHING of any such vow. IF the Catholic Church could show She made such a vow, that would be a slam dunk but it can't and we all know that.

Blessings!

Scripture has no denominations
God always establishes peace & order in the obedience to hierarchical authority!

Obedience:

Matt 18:17 hear the church

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Heb 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they care for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Matt 28:19 teaching them to obey all I have commanded

So tell me who is it that are going to obey and submit?

perhaps as Christ the king who founded a kingdom (not thousands of kingdoms) may help

Christ the king!

The king of kings!

Christ is King of Glory!

Kingdom established by God!
Isa 2:2
Dan 2: 44
Micah 4:1
One, holy, catholic, (universal) and apostolic! And all nations and all people shall flow into it! All must submit and obey the king of glory!

Christ is the king!

Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Lk 2:10-11 all people!

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matt 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, (old covenant Israel) and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (The new covenant church) Jn 15:1-5

Jesus Christ is king!

We must submit and obey the king of kings!

And In the absence of the king we must submit and obey the kings ministers!

Isa 22:21-22
Matt 16:18
Matt 18:18
Matt 28:18
Jn 20:21-23

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Biblical Example Joseph under pharaoh administers the kingdom and his brothers obeyed and submitted to him.

Christ is king and a king must rule the hearts and minds of his subjects!

All are subject to christ! Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

That's correct, but you are defending a doctrine that is predicated upon that very idea being true.

Are you not saying here that to be a virgin IS to be consecrated to God and "pure?" If so, you are now affirming that which you refused to affirm just prior to this comment!
I’m saying Mary is consecrated to God
