My pizza crust isn't light and airy...it's on the heavy side.

Pizza needs to be heavy and stodgy. I always figure if you're looking for something light, airy, healthy, pizza isn't the best option.

Got a wiring job done today. I've got two outside lights, linked to two switches with each light controlled separately. It would be really handy to have two switches control both lights. To make that happen I needed to remove one switch and its back box, figure where I needed to drill through from the basement to get behind the wall, then feed a cable up through the hole in the basement ceiling until it poked through the hole where the back box once was, then thread a piece of 14/3 from the other switch across the basement until I could use the first piece of cable to pull it into place, then replace the original switch with a three-way switch and put it all back together.

Tomorrow's job will be to replace the other switch with a three-way switch and connect it all up. Then I can think about running cables around the porch to join the two lights together. While I'm at it I'm going to install a ceiling fan over where we sit in the afternoons.

Doing this not only gives me more control over the outside lights but also means I can cut off some cables that run through a big hole in the outside wall, which in turn means I can see to filling the hole with some cement. That will stop cold air coming in during the winter and also help with the soundproofing, as well as meaning a little bit more of the knob and tube wiring gets disconnected. There's almost none of it left now.

It's really muggy outside so I don't feel like I should force my body to walk the hilly area under those conditions. I'll just have to get my steps indoors today.

Found I need a different back box to put the second three-way switch in. I'd put a bit of a kludge together with a back box that isn't really big enough to be a long-term solution but works fine when all it has in it is a single switch, and that part of the house is all ripped apart. But if I'm going to put a three-way switch in it with the extra wiring I need something deeper. I figured I might as well get a few extra boxes, given I've got more three-way switches to put in place before I'm done with the project.

The cost of cable continues to rise. It wasn't that long ago that 250 feet of 14/2 was $45 and 12/2 was $65. I bought some about three months back when 12/2 was closer to $100 and now it's $140. I've got a near-complete 250 feet of 12/3 that I paid $125 for before things went silly, used a few feet of it before discovering my project plan was fatally flawed. Maybe I'll sell the 12/3 and retire on the proceeds....

Working on the garden today if it doesn't rain.

Going to finish off my electrical job today. I've got the new back box in place, I just couldn't finish it yesterday because I needed to cut power to a circuit that would have left my wife without power where she needed it. Hopefully the power won't be out for long, then I can rig up a simple light fitting to make sure it's all working as expected. From there I need to figure out how to get everything I need in place regarding the outside lights, then I can go and get those and finish the outside work. Thankfully it's under the porch so I can do the work even if it's raining.

Got the electrical work done, so now I've got a taped wire outside that is controlled by either of two switches.

The nasty old cable that once fed one of my outside lights is now cut off and the end poked back through the hole in the wall, and the hole is now filled with cement from the outside. It will be a while before I can get to the inside of it to pull the cable out completely and fill the rest of the hole but for now at least there's one less hole in the wall.

Now I'm thinking about the best way to put the metal trim back onto the porch such that I can still drill 4" holes through it and put proper backboxes into the cavity to support the new lights I plan to install.

I had thought to make a start on fixing up the porch today but it's too hot for that. So I'm hiding indoors in the air conditioning, and we're thinking about going to a local pizza shop for dinner. That's sounding like a pretty good proposition.

Posting about the 7th Seal (as well a the structure of Daniel & Revelation) on a old Seventh-day Adventist forum I hadn't been to in a long time, and checking in on several other forums and the responses and materials there. In one forum I am currently posting all the scriptural (KJB) evidence on biblical Godhead, the eternal heavenly Trio, against all Arian, Semi-Arian, Unitarian, WT/JW, etc theologies.

Posting here (currently deciding what to post next), reading through, &c. Still uploading all of my files (currently Islam/Muslim apologetics materials) to Internet Archive. Now have 4,067 files uploaded (I have about 5TB to get uploaded). Still trying to get a single video to post to bitchute. It's been real unreceptive lately. Had to post a single video many times to finally get it to 'take'. Took several days.

Afterwards, in a few hours, going to a privately owned beach with the family I stay with, from an invitation by one of their close friends, for their school graduation. Presently it is raining steadily on this side of the island, so it will be pretty warm all the way round, but it might be sunny on the other side, so won't know yet till I get over there. Family is food (plant-based) prepping for all of us (bunch of children, several adults).

Probably share more here later today as time allows.

We got to the pizza shop and found the two imperial stouts I'd been looking forward to tasting had finished. So I ended up drinking a couple of IPAs instead. They were tasty, but I had really hoped to try the stouts.
