Just took in a walk. It felt harder than it should have done - my pulse was running 15% faster than normal. Not sure if it's about adjusting to our new normal, a not-great night's sleep or the extra heat.

My husband and I went out to eat this evening and now we're watching the news.

Just got nailed by the sickness after two days of feeling great. I see the doctor tomorrow and the Pulmonologist in Monday.

Howdy morning all! How are you doing so far with your day? Today, just enjoying my usual TV show before dozing off tonight.

Just got back from the doctors office and after about an hour in the lab waiting for blood to be drawn, I’m finally hone. Ate some lunch and about to call a friend.

Finally got out for a walk after it finally quit raining today and before the mosquitoes come out. Not much other than that.

Bit of a busy day today, mostly relating to our foster daughter again. We had a phone meeting with our family worker to make sure all is well with us and answer a few outstanding questions, then a physical visit from case workers to make sure all is well with her. In the meantime we took the chance to take a walk in the sunshine, which was nice.

 

[Lamb]

I woke up early to get groceries before it gets too hot outside. The cottonwood is blowing so walking around my block is too difficult with my allergies and the county park doesn't even open until 8AM now due to Covid regulations. I used to go walking there earlier than that pre-Covid and it was great to walk while there was still a morning chill.

Got a funeral today. I didn't know the guy who died but I'm the only one of the sound guys available during the day so I'll be working the sliders. I'll have to leave going for my walk until afterwards. Not ideal but it beats turning up hot and sweaty and smelly. I've got a couple of errands I can see to before the funeral.

 

[Lamb]

I was fortunate that it hasn't gotten too hot yet and I went to the grocery store and then did my 3 mile hike at the park without suffering heat exhaustion. It's actually a pleasant morning so far.

Today's mistake - having lunch and then going for my walk afterwards. I should have walked first and eaten later. It wasn't a heavy lunch and I left it 45 minutes before walking but still found it took more than I wanted to give. Tomorrow I'll try to remember to do it the other way around. It was a hot day and I got back in a bath of sweat.

Now I've had chance to shower I don't stink any more. This evening we're going to hang out with some friends and their kids. Should be fun.

I FINALLY got a new oven and was able to make homemade pizzas! Yay!!

Hey.

I saw the doctor again yesterday and he referred me to my lung specialist. I'm not supposed to go anywhere until Tuesday, but today I was able to celebrate Holy Communion with my Pastor because I won't be able to go out on Pentecost. Called out of my primary job and will call out of my Part- time job tomorrow morning. My supervisor at the full- time gig has also been coughing recently. I went back to work before I ought to have. I see the lung specialist on Monday.

I'm surprised my husband saved ME any LOL It's been months since we've been able to make pizza and it was really good this time! Well, it's always good...but this time was especially good.

I have a similar problem on an ongoing basis. I love raspberries. My wife hates them, so I got used to having them all to myself. The trouble is our foster daughter also loves raspberries. It shows how much I like her - I share my raspberries with her.
