The point is she had no husband as her head, nor salvation from above, nor The Most High condoning and directing her actions.
Where as clement and deborah both have spouses.

The account of judith is an atrocity against The Torah.

Do you understand?

Wait, what?
Judith is historically mistaken because it’s a sin for a woman to let her husband die?

According to halacha preserving a life is a mitzvah.
A commandment.
And for a woman/widow to seek retribution is contrary to Torah.

Wait, what? Are you saying Judith murdered her husband? Where did you that idea?
So, every widow who has a dead husband is suddenly a murderer now? Is that it?

How is the troll now?

I’m asking you to show a historical mistake in Judith. And instead you are trolling me with wild and nonsensical accusations that Judith murdered her husband, with no basis for believing that.
YOU are trolling.

YOU are trolling.
You aren't asking.
You accused judith of murder.
Which is what she committed according to the account of her actions.

Are you prepared to defend such a hypothetical widow?

Ok, so you think Judith murdered her husband. Why do you think that? Show me chapter and verse where it says that.

She committed murder by deceiving someone other than her husband.
Do you recall?

Or is a copy paste out of reach?

Ok, so you’re not saying she murdered her husband? You’re changing your story and saying she murdered someone else now?
Ok, who did she murder?

Are you talking about the fact that she cut off the head of Holofernes? That guy was the enemy. She’s a hero for doing that. She SAVED her nation by doing that.

What exactly are you implying?

What exactly does this have to do with my question?

Where are the HISTORICAL mistakes in Judith?
Do you know of any? If not, then why do you keep responding?

I respond to educate others of the lies the enemy attempts to sow

Judith is essentially a character similar to the red queen in Alice's wonderland.

And the red queens enemy is her king.

Do you understand?

Why don’t you just admit that you don’t know of any historical mistakes and stop talking?

I'm giving reasons for the lack of historicity of The book of judith.

You haven’t shown one single historical mistake. Either show a historical mistake or stop talking. Otherwise you’re just a troll.

Is asking about judith Trolling?

Why would it be? This is a book revered by the early church, and declared by multiple early church councils to be scripture. So it’s a perfectly relevant question to know whether or not it contains mistakes.

My apologies,
I didn't realize what was revered.

I'll be quiet

Not sure if Clement of Rome, a disciple of Paul the Apostle, preached a sermon on the "Cat in the Hat" to 1rst century Christians.

Andrew -

What does that have to do with a book containing historical inaccuracies?

It is not unusual for an individual Christian to mention a book.... I suspect this happens thousands of times every day. If a Christian (like me) mentions a book (Like Cat in the Hat) does that prove ergo that book is the inerrant, divinely-inspired, normative, inscripturated words of God?

Do you know that early Christians often quoted books from Ignatius and MANY others (none of those books now in our Bible... and probably some contain no historical mistakes). That they often mentioned and quoted the books of First and Second Clement? They they often quoted from the Didache, the Epistle of Barnabas, the Shepherd of Hermas, the Gospel of the Hebrews and the Apocalypse of Peter? Indeed, ECF sometimes specifically labeled each of these books as "Scripture?" I'm not sure any of these contain inaccurate history. I am sure none of them are in your tome with "HOLY BIBLE" on the cover...

Blessings on your Easter season...

All those books you mentioned are NT era, we are discussing the OT apocrypha book of Judith. In context, Clement mentions Judith along with Esther ( just after discussing Moses)
