Thirdly: it has only been the catholic leaders who have openly accepted worldly positions in defiance of The Holy Sriptures and sound doctrine.
I don't know about that. The United Methodist Church is in the process of splitting over gay marriage. Many of the "mainline" Protestant churches have either accepted "Social Justice" theology or embraced the LGBTQ ideology. The local Episcopal church in my city host the local LGBTQ groups meetings.
In short, they have rejected traditional Christian Morality and "The five solas" in favor of a cultural gospel and morality.
So it is not only Catholic leaders who have openly accepted worldly positions in defiance of the Holy Scriptures and sound doctrine.
We non-Catholic Christians have our own issues. Be it the influence of word of Faith televangelist theology on one side or liberal/cultural theology on the other.
