Postponed but they don't have a date for rescheduling at this point and I'm hoping to make it in by the end of the year since we met our deductible for insurance (which is really high) and if I can't get in until next year then we'll be hit with a huge bill all at once.

Yeah, I had extra stress because the insurance said they didn't receive the clinical documents they needed and the doctor's office said they faxed them over 3 times and then I was told that there was a possibility the insurance wouldn't approve in time because of all that. So yesterday I was a complete wreck and then I got the call that the doctor had to cancel it. They didn't even all the insurance company to let them know! They had called at 5PM to tell me I was approved and I was the one who told them. I asked them to keep the documents on file so we don't have to go through that hassle again.

It could also be God telling you that surgery might not even be a necessary intervention at all, in light of the fact that there are non-surgical alternatives out there. Yes, I know that you mentioned that insurance doesn't cover them, but still, it's your body and insurance is nothing but worldly possession. We are told that our bodies the temples of God, and I tend to think that the temples of God are more valuable than money.
