It depends on where you are. I currently live in south Texas where I love winter, due to the fact that there is no snow and ice and the temperatures are pretty moderate. When I live in Iowa and Nebraska, that snow and ice were two things I didn't like along with the below freezing and even below zero temperatures.

I hate that the brutal weather interferes with my walking. I like to go out for long walks but it's too dangerous in bad weather.

Snow can be really photogenic but does stifle me walking in the woods. Last time I walked in the woods in the snow I slipped on the ice and left a huge bruise on my butt.

I love everything except for the cold. I wish God had made snow and ice be available at temperatures our bodies can feel comfortable with.

Well, there are places in CA where there is ice 365 days of the year. But where I live, winter never really comes. Which is one of the good reasons why I live here. Now, it got down to 42 degrees last night, as the low, which is ABSURD and should be made illegal...but that's very rare (especially for Fall). It actually SNOWED here in 1948 but it all melted by Noon. I hope that never happens again. There is WINTER near here.... in an hour, one can drive to the snow... in two hours, one can drive to sky resorts but avoid winter where we live. Winter IS something to be avoided.
