I love orange or pineapple flavored Grand Marnier, Bailey’s Irish cream, champagne, all wines except white, whiskey in my coffee or scotch or apricot brandy in it. Lately in life, I prefer my coffee with alcoholic beverages personally.

Glenlivet Scotch

A good wine.

I'm not much into beer, except with pizza or Mexican food and then I tend to go with those Mexican lagers such as XX or Corona (admittedly light stuff).

I like my coffee with just coffee in it because I like coffee. I like my booze with just booze in it (no ice in my Scotch) because I like it.

Putting ice in good Scotch is a waste of Scotch. If you don't already do it, what you should try is adding a very small amount of pure water. Not enough to dilute the whisky, literally just a few drops of water in a measure of whisky, then adjust to taste.

I like single malt Scotch whisky, craft beer, heavy red wines, crisp and reasonably dry white wines.

I don't tend to go for mass produced lagers and don't care for sweet wine. Nor do I care for the kind of whisky that you can get for $5/gallon.

I drink my Scotch at room temp. BUT I do have "ice cubes" in the freezer that actually are sealed, the water is inside. So it doesn't dilute the drink.
!) and I HAVE tried some of those, but to MY (probably immature untrained) taste, the $30 a bottle stuff is pretty darn good. The 12 year, single malt, Glenlivit stuff is $29 at Costco, about $10 less than usual, and good. Since I care about cost, I just drink less. Quality, not quantity.

Glenlivet is good....it's even better if you add just a couple of drops of spring water to it. Give it a try, it releases more of the aromatics in the whisky.
