Are you claim8ihng that God changed and doesnt speak to anyone in that way?

That's not an answer. That's another deflection.

No it is asking you a question, not a defelection. You want an answer, then so do I. You ask questions like that and you dont expect to be asked about it? Every time I see something like praying to satan or does God speak to me as He spoke to Noah I am going to come back at you with a question.

It appears that you don't want to be held accountable for what you say. You make claims, and when questioned, do everything to deflect, from saying we aren't spiritual enough, or questioning our trust in what you say God says to you, or asking questions.

Over 160 posts in this thread and some of us have been asking the same question over and over. We would like some scripture to back the claims made. And all this time we've not received any.

And yet we are the bad guys.

I can't find a clear text about it. The moon will turn to blood is before He comes back and it doesn't sound like a red moon to me. Genesis though says the moon is also for signs and it's also somewhere in Job. It may mean something or not lol.

I agree. It might mean something. I'm hoping that one of the proponents would tell us so that the claims can be examined.

You now have the scriptures and I knew you would know them, I see he wasnt asked to provide chapter and verse, must just be for me. As to does God speak to me the answer is yes He does. In visions, in a small voice, and very clearly at times. Does this happen all the time, no. But it does happen but only if I become still and empty my mind, then I can recieve from God.

I believe you hear voices. But if it's God, then you should write it down so we can all add it to our bibles.

Of course he had confidence, but had that confidence been misplaced he'd have looked like a collosal numpty, building a honking great boat that couldn't be used. The confidence in and of itself would have been worthless had he got it wrong.

It is a good thing that Noah believed God, or none of us would be here. Had Noah stopped building the boat because he was afraid he might look like a "colossal numpty" if he was wrong, that would have been the end of mankind. When we do things in faith, it gives us hope. The Bible say that hope does not shame us.

Yes me too and then I can check with the Bible or with what happens if it was Him, myself or the devil.
We should test all things or you can just wait. If there's a world wide revival within a year or so I can say: lelelelele told you so! If not I'm happy that I said: well I think it means that.

Let's pretend that someone does actually hear God's audible voice. Is there any way to verify what was said was from God? Yes. You verify it against scripture. Which is what we are asking for.

I take it that you dont hear Him, otherwise you wouldnt answer as you did but hey I already sort of figured that. He really is no respector of persons so if you become still and concentrate on Him you might be surprised at what He might say

Thanks Messy, I know that many hear from God and I also know that there are many naysayers as well. No matter, their loss not mine

You said you empty your mind. The scripture say to do the opposite. That's why you aren't actually hearing God.

Empty of everyday things that are on your mind and create business that interferes with eharing, must I spell out everything, this is why I dont particularly want to interact with you and by the way you never answered my question. Also you say you can not know unless you experience it so dont tell me I dont hear from God when I know full well I do. You cant have it both ways

I think you hear God without even realizing. It's thoughts I get or Bible texts or a dream. Ever had a Bible text pop up all of a sudden?

I do not doubt that God trains us in the right ways and leads us in his paths and that he does these things through holy scripture, prayer, the admonition of pastors, and the wisdom of the faithful nor do I doubt that creation, the times and seasons, and events in history and in our personal lives are instrumental in teaching and training our consciences so that we can live godly in this world and by God's grace finally be received into his presence in eternity. However none of these things requires voices in the head, heart, or the air.

Oh lol I forgot the pastors. Haha work all night to hear what God has to say today to the church and then say: I can't hear God.
He spoke audibly to Daniel.
Voices sounds scary, a small still Voice that His sheep hear sounds better.
Hey everyone who's saved can hear His Voice. Otherwise they weren't saved.

Then you believe that God changed and no longer speaks?

All the time. In prayer or even when doing the dishes.Sometimes when I am sad. He comforts me by dropping scripture into my spirit. Sometimes our thoughts are too chaotic to hear. Sometimes we need to turn off noise like t.v. or radio, or any distraction that get in the way of hearing Him. Sometimes people do not understand when we say "the Holy Spirit said...". They think we are pretending or worse that we are crazy. They scoff at us and ridicule us. God still speaks and to those who listen, they hear Him. He is not a respecter of persons, so anyone who wants to hear Him can hear Him. God does not change. If He ever spoke in the past, then, He still speaks today. And it is not an intellectual head knowledge as some want to say. It is actual communication, spirit to Spirit.
