I am thinking of upgrading my second phone from a Huawei P30 Pro to a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro or a Huawei P40 Pro they both look good during the hype.
Keep in mind I don’t use Google services that much except for YouTube. I don’t even use Google Maps either. So even if these phones don’t have Google services this honestly won’t worry me.

Which one do you think I should get and why?

I've heard of the Huawei brand but I'm not sure about the other one. They aren't really that popular where I live because most people either have a Samsung or an iPhone.

What things interest you the most while using your phone? Will either of these be a better match?

I'd avoid both for privacy reasons. Unless you really need a new phone now I'd avoid both simply because they are Chinese. I'd really like to see an international boycott of Chinese stuff.

Huawei, simply because I like the fact that they kept going even after Google abandoned them and America banned them. Instead of resigning like Blackberry and Microsoft (Windows Phone) did when they faced odds that seemed impossible, Huawei was like, "we're making our own operating system and we're building our own app store".

So, yeah, buy a Huawei P40 Pro, and post photos of it when you get it. I'd also love to hear your opinions about it after you get accustomed to it.

Yup, buy Chinese and enjoy the fact that they can spy on you
