That was kind of startling to read this morning. Apparently, the shrine officials fear contagion spreading in these pools where miraculous healings are supposed to take place.

Hmm, looks like they might have some explaining to do to those making a pilgrimage to be healed..

Apparently, the healing qualities of this water ( may only be in the heads of the pilgrims) aren't quite as potent as their publicity team would have the public believe.

Yeah, that is a lot of money spent and hope invested. I wonder if they get a refund?

Apropos of absolutely nothing, but if I wanted to make a pilgrimage, I'd rather visit the Castle Church in Wittenberg and the Black Cloister.
