The guy could have helped more people by going on a crowdfunding site and supporting the causes of people who are raising money for urgent medical needs.

... and in unrelated news Prince Ogumbe of Nigeria died without leaving any heirs (again) and his lawyers are reaching out to random people around the world to see if anyone is willing to pretend to be a relative and claim his fortune ...
