I am seeing here so many Christians are not real Christians and they even don't bath in early morning for a prayer. They even dress up with good clothes with perfume on Sundays, but most don't have time to go for Church.
Do you like these people in Chrisitianity caste?

It is not for me to judge as I have my own issues to deal with, God knows the hearts and it is for Him to judge those.

Where did this idea of bath before morning prayer come from? Usually, we Christians feel that you can pray at any time and in a number of different ways. There isn't any ritual requirement like the Muslims have.

However, getting dressed up on Sunday morning but not go to church wouldn't be appreciated by any Christians I know.

I am an Indian, i agree few so called Christians go to Church for the sake of going without cleansing them. But why worry about spoiled ones when there are many fresh ones available. They are just show off Christians.

As I saw here few threads about morning prayer, but never seen such things offline. These are some of my friends who do such things and they say we are pure God lover.
I understood from your post anyone can pray at any time what they want. Thanks for the information and about Muslims they only go to Namaz on Friday at mid afternoon.

BTW do you offer anything in the church to the people like Food, cool drinks?

Are you asking if the church offers some refreshments to the people who come to the worship services? Or are you asking if the churches are active in helping the poor and needy?

If it is the first of these, we remember that the Bible records how a fellowship meal for the worshippers--apart from the worship service itself--was a feature of the very early church. Today that is not always done, but it is common for churches to have a "coffee hour" gathering after worship for the people there and to have some food as well as coffee or some other drinks as the people fellowship. And some churches have taken lately to having something like this before the service starts, as the people are arriving.

But if you as asking if the church engages in feeding the poor and distributing food to those in need after natural disasters, etc., yes, such charitable activities have always been a part of Christian history and, in fact, some churches are very much into that service, do it all the time, and have distribution centers, fleets of trucks, and cover quite a lot of territory in their work.

I was asking about this line Are you asking if the church offers some refreshments to the people who come to the worship services?
I heard here on Sundays some Churches allow food for free to the people who comes to worship. I see you have mentioned very well everything in your post. Does this Coffee and food is offered for free or have to pay money in church?
By being an Hindu, here in some Temples food is offered for free to everyone whether he is poor or rich. I am not comparing or don't have such behavior, but just want to know.
I think there is lot of difference between Indian Churches and Overseas.

Not that I know of, usually people had breakfast or fast until after church service and then go out to eat afterwords.
It's usually just rows of pews and the pulpit so really no where to set up a coffee maker or table for cookies and such..
They might hold events however with food and drinks and activity for the kids :)

You are referring to the people who come to church for the worship services, not the population at large. So the answer is this--

No, there would be nothing wrong with that, but it is not normally done here in North America.

I referred to "coffee hours" in my earlier post but the food and drink there are just snacks to have while people mingle and talk casually with each other after worship. Nothing approaches a meal at that point, and this is not about feeding other people. The cost, which is minimal, is usually paid from tiny contributions made by those who have chosen to attend this optional gathering and taken a cup of coffee and/or a donut or something like that. If not, the church pays for this.

I think there is lot of difference between Indian Churches and Overseas.
I'm sure there is, but there is no reason that every cultural practice in one country be the same as in all the others--not from a Christian perspective.

It's nice to hear from you all and I see tea and snacks are offered, but some people told food is too offered here, and from your post they may be liars. I have never gone inside the Church, stood outside few times on Sundays.

Thanks for your clarification and we all are same for God.

bharath, let me make few things clear. There are different Christian groups in India, where everyone does things different. One or two groups provide snacks, sometime food and sustain people in their Church. Some don't wear jewels or any costly product and go to one Church.

It is just different perception of few people and limited knowledge of the Bible, no matter what Jesus is our true God.
