That's a strange comment particulary as they supply Europe with most of its gas!

Having watched the US instigated and led financial war against the Russian Federation, it was more than obvious that in its early days that it had a great negative impact on Russia, but due to the US assault it forced them to heavily restructure their financial system where they have now formed the BRIC consortium where Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa have developed a new financial global system with its own World Bank that even Australia has joined.

They are now in the process of replacing the US dollar as the preferred international currency and if this goes the way that they hope, where if they replace the US Dollar with their own currency, then the US dollar could very well crash.

I don't know if the US pressure on the EU to sanction Russia is intended to weaken both the EU and Russia, where I suspect that the US is playing both the EU and Russia against each other in an attempt to strengthen their own economy. Unfortunately, as most US foreign polices tend to either create chaos or go belly-up, then I will not be surprised to see this new BIC's consortium being the reason that the US financial system eventually fails.

Whatever

I would agree that the war-mongering isn't as bad now as it was under Bush. But it's still appalling to me. We spend more than 10 times as much on the military as we do teaching our children. Pure insanity.

Did you know that in a recent survey of over 2000 Americans, 1 in 4 thought that the Sun revolves about the Earth? Or that nearly half thinks the Earth is less than 10,000 years old? Such ignorance is shocking, and makes many around the world understandably laugh at us. Teachers are afraid to teach fundamental scientific truths for fear of offending beliefs. Truth should never be suppressed because of belief, especially when it comes to science education.

My fiancee has family in Malaysia and Singapore...and we sometimes compare the math assignments that our respective nieces and nephews come to us for help. Her family is consistently about 6 years ahead of mine in terms of math/science. It saddens both of us to see the kids here so severely shortchanged.
Did you really just say that core sciences aren't. Being taught for fear of the religious? That's backwards dude.

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.

Russia, since Sept 1980, have had a mutual defense pact with Syria.

I find it strange that four missiles fired from Russian ships today flew off course and landed in Iran. Oops!

The missiles were fired from the Caspian sea and there is not a flight path between the Caspian sea and Syria that does not overfly foreign lands including Iran.

Yes they certainly did. I am reminded of a while back when Gaza was firing missiles at Israel and some of them flew off course miraculously into the sea. Hamas exclaimed that Israel's God was knocking the missiles out of the sky. This is what came to my mind, that our Father is getting involved supernaturally against Israel's enemies.

Or we could all be destroyed by a nuclear bomb.

Being destroyed by a nuclear bomb is not in prophecies that I see. Not saying that it doesn't happen, but that it is not prophetically significant for the believers.

With all of the nuclear bombs in the world it is possible. Even a limited nuclear exchange would destroy civilization as we know it. But, I do not think our Father will allow that.Lord Jesus will return and stop the madness.

You did not address my post, but, I will give you my opinion. Our Father has much more powerful means of destroying the world than an A-Bomb. He created it after all.He just said let there be, and the heaven and the Earth was created. In my mind, He can just speak, and the whole thing will come crashing down. But that is just my opinion.

I think Russia is taking the lead because America hasn't been. Someone has to lead.
