Correct. Baptism is not an ordinance as Anabaptists and Baptists teach; it is not a hoop Christians gotta jump through.

Yes, GOD can use things in order to convey His divine gifts of life, faith, the Holy Spirit... things God uses.... but you are absolutely right (and the Baptists wrong), it in NO WAY is something the saved person's gotta do; it's not a "hoop" the saved gotta do because Jesus' works are insufficient.

For the serious disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ, who adheres to His voice and commands, I've begun a "REPENTANCE" thread in the Bible Study section of this forum, where the foolishness which has abounded in this thread is not allowed.
Repentance is all throughout the Scripture, and to ignore or mock what God has clearly stated through the Prophets, Apostles, and His Firstborn Son, is something we should think twice about.

Serious debate and mature fellowship I thoroughly enjoy, but the foolishness that has been displayed here is disappointing to say the least, and an embarrassment to any visitors who come to this site looking for Purpose and Meaning in life.
We truly need to think... is what we say and do bearing witness of Jesus Christ, or our carnal nature?

When Jesus rebuked people and told them their theology was wrong, was he unloving? When Jesus cast out the money changers in the Temple, was he unloving?
God is Love. I wonder if your image of God is man-made and thus you miss what love is.
Second, if you are a parent, you also recognize that love is more than being an encourager and pom pon cheerleader. Perhaps you aren't a parent.
In either case, you seem to have a shallow grasp on what love is.
