The Electorial college protects the rights of outer city folk like farmers. It's not fair that they get no say because the area is so big yet has a very thin amount of people compared to big city dwellers in much smaller and compact areas where mostly radical movements and violent protest come from.But USA people (Americans as you call them) did not elect Donald the electoral college did and it did so despite his loss of the popular vote by around three million votes so yes. let's judge his validity as POTUS and let's inspect his behaviour as POTUS and not withhold impeachment and conviction in the Senate when the time comes.
