This says nothing about the acquisition of the Faith...

Nothing about God giving the Faith here...

Romans 10:17,

To hear means to understand and obey, HEAR???

Nothing about God sousing you with faith...

Titus 3:5

Nothing here about faith being imparted...

Perhaps, Josiah, you might take just one - any one - of your scattergun of verses
and show how it means that the Faith is God's Gift to the unrepentant,
and not that it is the MEANS of Salvation BY God's Merciful GRACE...

Word-salads of verses do not illuminate meaning, you see...

Citing 20 verses shows nothing...

Why not just cite the Bible entire???

It is a bogus way of discussion...

God told me this, For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God hath before ordained to be our way of life. And as some here are so keen to observe - Jesus is the saviour and Christians trust in him.

I preach obedience to Christ.

People here are going against that we can even obey Jesus by saying we can believe in him.

Jesus says believe in Me.

You and your ilk say, "Save me first."


That is NOT obedience to Christ.
That is defiance to Christ.

Jesus says to believe and he will save you but you tell people they cannot believe.

Oh yeah, I didn't notice that part.

The Catholics claim that is what Jesus looks like.

It took a long time for me to get that false image out of my mind every time I thought of Jesus.

One time I debated a self proclaimed witch and she said she was sexually attracted to Jesus.

I told her no one knows what Jesus looks like.

She said the Catholics do.

I told her the Bible says Jesus was not physically attractive, and then I praised God for that.

The all wise God knows what is best.

God has certainly ordained that you come here. I certainly have learned something from you. It probably isn't what you hope for however.
You might take notice that persons whom God has guided for decades have shared scripture and pointed you to the God of grace. It may very well be that God is working on you because he wills to teach you that which you presently fail to understand. Our prayers are for God to break through to you.

Just to follow up on this post, when a group of people who can disagree about a lot of things are united in opposition to something, there's probably a lesson in there somewhere.

Is it God?

The Greek term for person is HYPOSTASIS -

It means literally "That which stands under..."

We are created in the Image, the Ikon, of God...

That image is not a product...

It is a primal cause that is the PERSON so created in God's Ikon...

THAT person is free in this fallen creation to hear or not hear...

To obey or disobey...

To choose Good or evil...

IF it is God who chooses FOR YOU to obey God and scorn evil...

To love Truth and hate lies...

OR.....

To love evil and scorn the Good...

To love lies and hate truth...

Then God is the Creator of Evil and man's love for it...

And he is the Creator only of Good and the Love of Good...
