Let's talk about the book of Enoch and the other apocryphal scriptures that the majority of people are unaware of . I have been told by Christians and Jehovas witnesses to ignore those books because they are not official scripture. Official according to whom? The council of Nicea?

I'm not sure about the book of Enoch exactly but there is a point were you can't just declare a book holy or word of God. Again I not necessarily talking about the book of Enoch but rather the fact that most people draw a line in the sand about books out side of the bible. Most people do not know the reasons what books were chosen or not, so it makes since to not risk being manipulated by false teaching.

I heard that most of the books being considered for the new testament have good biblical principles but for today's society it makes since to be careful about taking something as God's word outside the bible.

The book of Enoch was kept out of the Catholic bible because it didn't align with that they were attempting to convey. It is mostly about Noah's grandfather and his experience with God and angels or spiritual beings. It pertains to the universe more so than the earth alone. It is an enlightening read. There is nothing sacreligeous about it. In my opinion. It is much older then the New Testament.

To quote Genesis 6:4
"The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown."
This particular verse in Genesis is a reference to that time of Enoch. These fallen angels lusted for the humans and interbred with them creating hybrids. These are what some may call "ancient aliens" that taught man many things they weren't supposed to know. That is why God decided to wipe them all out in the flood. Noah was allowed to live because he was an ancestor of Enoch . Noahs lineage was pure.

It fills in some pieces of unanswered questions in scripture. I enjoyed reading it. Jude must have also.

I enjoy these books as history. Before I read them I wondered about a lot of what was not plain to me from the Holy Bible.

Bahai scripture and the Hindu Gita and Qur'an are also wholly peaceable and revealing as well. You must be mindful of inserted diversions of the generally peaceful messages in the Qur'an though.
All monotheistic religions that I have come across thus far refer to the same one God we all worship and come from. I know I will be looked down upon for writing this but that is irrelevant. Gods work and direction is the only pertinent thing at this time.

Thank you.
No disrespect to any man. Faith and direction under God alone through the salvation made possible through the self sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Peace at all costs.

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.
