I think the public broadcasting network ran it during a pledge drive once many years ago and I loved it. I've always admired John Cleese. He seemed different from the rest of the "Python" group somehow

I'm often puzzled at which shows make it in the US and which ones don't. When I'm with friends on the left side of the water I often have to catch myself because references to iconic UK sitcoms just don't work - when people haven't seen the show and many people haven't even heard of the show, references to the show tend to fall flat.

A few people I know in the US loved that show. It never really did much for me. It's quite curious, given how many UK sitcoms I thought were great that just fall flat in the US, to think of one show that seemed to really fly in the US that weren't as popular in the UK.

So I've been attending Westboro Baptist Church live stream sermons online and no jest, they are actually very sound in scripture.. I started off refuting them online in forums but it turns out they are right. Long story short, I've been keeping this a secret for a while, but I got asked if I would like to join them in Topeka Kanses! They said I could stay there and work there while I stay and if I'm comfortable there I could stay permanently if they approve.. I just sent the confirmation this morning and I'm currently packing up for my trip so I can attend Wednesdays sermon, I'm driving that way asap so wish me luck! I'll keep you all updated!

Had a bad day. New phone won't charge the battery and was overheating. I'm returning it I spent so much time getting the phone set up and in one move back to factory settings. So sad.
