It looks like #racism and #bigotry won out the day in the midterm. It appears that many in the country still respond positively to hate speech.

Now some will have you believe that the "Christian" right came out in big numbers. However, while a lot of people on the right came out to protect what is deep within their heart, there is nothing #Christian about racism and bigotry.

Christ is about love, mercy, compassion, fairness and justice. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise.

Keep up the fight guys. Reproduce like there is no tomorrow. Make lots of babies. Be fruitful and multiply. You can't be a minority if there is a lot of you (us). Fill the USA with a lot of brown,black, asian, interacial babies. God wants us to be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Pastors, preachers, ministers, phophets, you will do well to create a culture where babies are a blessing and not a burden.

I personally and honestly do not know where people ever got the idea that Republicans are racist (hate speech)... sounds like a certain party is victimising minorites by playing on their emotions and reminding them who were slaves (african americans) and who were their masters (Caucasians) will we ever move on?
America (both parties) grant freedom and legal rights to all immigrants but they have to come in legally, im sorry but those who say otherwise are lying and just want your vote.

While I agree that racism and bigotry are alive and well all around the world and very visibly in USA politics of today and while I also agree that racism and bigotry are contrary to the teaching of Christ I do not agree that making lots of babies is the solution to the problem. But it is an amusing suggestion, I suppose.

For Christians the answer to racism is compassion for the needy regardless of their skin colour and ethnicity and the answer to bigotry is truth held and proclaimed without fear.

In the House, the Democrats gained FAR, FAR fewer seats than anyone predicted... last I heard, only 28 which is EXACTLY the statistical average for the "opposition" party in a mid-term election, so NOTHING of a "wave" or "revolution" or "protest" that so many (even some Republicans) predicted. And most of those newly elected chose to not run against Trump and made it clear they won't support the return of old, radical Democrat/Socialist/Communist leadership.


I think Trump (whom I did NOT vote for) won the day. He will have an easier time with court appointments AND he now has a clear target for his attacks and blames (the Democratically controlled House). His attacks on the Press (while valid) never sat well with the public (never does) but his attacks on his OWN PARTY (since it controlled both houses) did worse (and only alientated his own party!). Now he has a target... something to blame.... And if those Dems blog down everything with public flamming, legal accusations, hearings, etc. - that will anger the public even mroe than they already are - but with another target.

I respect all Presidents, I had no problem with Obama although I didn't agree with his views I never spoke evil of him.
That's the difference between the parties, Republicans just don't stoop to the level of Democrats.
Law is law and lawlessness is lawlessness, Trump says he wants immigrants to come in and fill these new jobs that he helped bring in and since the economy is doing great he welcomes them in based on merit -they have to come in through the legal process.
Like I said, Obama felt the same way, Hillary and Obama spoke exactly like Trump on that matter, they get applaud while the man who actually acts gets slammed left and right by the media and their followers.

I can only speak for me.... I watched the coverage of the election for about 6 hours last night, on CNN. I heard the liberal press go on and on and on and on.... endlessly... about the race of candidates, how various races were voting.... about the gender of candidates and how and why one gender votes as we were told they were... about ethnicity and language.... on and on and on. MUCH of what they said was focused on the color of one's skin, the ethnicity of their ancesters, their gender... even the race, color and ethnicity of those who campaigned for various candidates. Race.... color.... gender..... racism, sexism.

Sorry, but I at least did not hear ONE REPUBLICAN last night during those 6 hours so much as notice or even mention in passing ANYONE'S race or color or gender or ethnicity. Not one. I heard just a bit of Trumps speech this morning (I had to leave for work) but in that, I never once heard him mention ANYONE's skin color or gender or ethnicity or language. But I heard the commentator do so.

Now, maybe I missed it. I did have to go to the bathroom and get a drink, etc. So if you know of some Republican who even MENTIONED skin color or gender or native language or ethnicity last night - so be it. I never did. In MY experience, the ever-present OBSESSION over the color of one's skin and the gender of a person seems to be a Democrat/Liberal thing. It sure was last night as I watched CNN. Stunning in fact. Obsessive is the only way to define what the press did and what some of the Democrat candidates and bundits did. I don't think it works anymore but it's a huge "card" they play constantly.
