i went to an alliance church this morning and when I arrived for worship I was told it was youth Sunday. The youth led the worship and then they talked about their mission trip. The pastor spoke for only a few moments. I then came home and listened to a sermon he did that was posted online.
I thought the service was very long. We were there for almost two hours

I wanted to run down my favorite trail this weekend, but it is closed due to down trees and flooding. So, I went and ran on the treadmill for four miles.

My favorite trails have been closed for over a month now because of Asian beetles that are killing the trees. So they're removing the dead trees and now I'm afraid my favorite places will be bare!

We didn't get hardly any rain for a month and then we got an enormous amount of rain in the last two or three weeks every day. All the rivers were up to their banks.
I'm sure the whole trail didn't get flooded, but there are some areas that are fairly close to the lake that it wouldn't be that hard. The trail is about 90% in the shade from trees, so a few trees going down could be a problem also

No, it is very flat by the lake. Only one spot for the whole 7.2 miles where it is hilly and that doesn't last long.

That must make it a very nice jog then. Our hills are too much for me to jog right now. The cross country teams train there and it builds up endurance fast!

Yes, that's one of the reasons I like it. Also has nice views of the lake and lots of shade

Our flattest place to jog is mostly in the sun and in the fall that's nice but now it's torture!
