1 Corinthians states our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit...

Is a Christian a temple even though when he sins?

Paul was talking to a church that was still struggling with cultural sins still being prevalent. The pagan temple worship was being merged into the church rather than being separated from the church (kinda like the Roman church has been). Paul was telling Christians that they were holy and set apart unto God and his presentation is that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit so don't keep living like pagans.
Our position as God's vessel does not change even though we fail to obey. However, having no concern for obedience may indicate that the person has not been made alive in Christ.

Yes it remains a temple because the holy spirit would not leave since Jesus atoned for the sins that we commit.

1Co 3:10-17 According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire.

16 Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.

This is today's Epistle Reading...

The issue is not whether or not we sin, but whether or not we decide to commit sin... We will always be sinning by omission, in ignorance, and unintentionally, on a disturbingly regular basis - In word and in deed... The desecration of the Temple comes when we know what we should not do, and decide to do it anyway... Or know what we should do, and walk away from doing it...

16
Know ye not that ye are a Temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17
If any man destroyeth the temple of God,
him shall God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy,
and such are ye.

This is a strong warning against suicide...
And against the defilement of God's Temple...

Arsenios

“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person.” Is the "you" in that verse plural in the Greek?

"Destroy this Temple and I will rebuild it in three days..."

The Temple is the Body of Christ, and we are members of that Body...

The Ekklesia is not merely anthrophic - (human)

It is Theanthropic... It is Christ - His Body on earth now...

The Naos, Temple, is our flesh...

That is what the Apostle wrote in the passages quoted from his letters. Saint Paul was merely echoing the blessed truth expressed by the Lord while he walked the earth and trained the twelve.

Thank you.

Since the "temple" is not referring to the individual alone then it cannot be meaning suicide at all in the verse about destroying.
