Can the Holy Spirit be taken away? Additionally, can God's Mercy be taken away?

Didnt David pray take not your Holy Spirit from me? Yes it can it will leave if we grieve it long enough and Gods mercy is there and available to all but if you keep abusing it then yes God will withhold it, His judgement is proof of that

God's mercy can never be taken away. His mercy is everlasting! God is gracious to the repentant.

Luke 18 11 The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’ 13 But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner! 14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other

I agree....

Now, I do think it is at least theoretically possible (whether it ever actually HAPPENS is unknown to me) for one to "wreck" his/her faith - and thus terminate their justification. The MANY warnings we have in the NT against doing that seems to support that. But in that case, letting go of God's hand is not the same as God letting go of ours, and destroying the gift of faith is not the same thing as creating the faith in the first place. No one can give themselves physical life but it does seem they can terminate it, perhaps it is similar with spiritual life?

1) We can do nothing to influence the Holy Spirit. The HS is the counselor and functions as such in the believers life.
2) If God ceased to be merciful, we would all immediately be in hell. God is merciful to all humans in displaying his patience.

Is Grace equivalent to Divine Patience?

Is Grace equivalent to Divine Patience?
No. Mercy is expressed in divine patience.
God will ultimately give all the unredeemed what they deserve, thus grace is not extended to the unredeemed. But, God extends mercy to all at every moment of every humans life until God ends the unredeemed person's life.

So you agree with the Catholic view?

What does the image you posted have to do with this topic? I don't see any connection.
Because you wrote:

The image is in response to those ignorant and unredeemed being judged by Gods Mercy
