yes ,i of all people am starting a cooking thread .. but because i want to glean ideas haha .but not how to cook complex meals and things ..

i'll start

I find a great way to cook broccoli is ..keep it simple ..steam for 7-9 minutes (if large quantity pour boiling water over them first ) dish straight onto plate sprinkle with cracked pepper and malt vinegar . - enjoy


there that was easy .. :)

One of my favourite and simplest ways of cooking peas is sauteing in a little butter - adding mint if you're feeling flush.

Oops, I didn't even consider others! :)

They are equally tasty cooked in a little stock, chicken I like best.

I like to cut them into little batons. Steamed I find keeps the best flavour in.

ouuh yea.. you just reminded me ..Carrots sliced lengthways thinly then lightly caramelized with sesame seeds

I find a great way to cook corn on the cob is to boil a pot of water then add the corn cobs and boil gently for about 10-15 minutes. I don't add anything to the water.

Best way to cook carrots is firstly cut it into bite-sized pieces. Heat the pan, add oil. Wait until oil begins to glint after that add bite-sized pieces of carrot add salt and cook for 10 to 15 minutes .
